My part of Kiwi Land is one where cities are allowing the maximum allowable number of pot shops to open ASAP. There are so many in close proximity to each other in the big cities and suburbs that the supply is too high and going rate had dropped like 30% in the past year - making it almost impossible for small operators to make a profit. When they can't stay open, their only options are to liquidate or hope a bigger operation absorbs them because pot shops can't file for bankruptcy due to marijuana still being illegal at the federal level. All this is notwithstanding the random pot smells that waft, linger, and smell worse than a dead skunk.
People legit thought that legalizing pot would mean brown people stop getting arrested for slinging dope, when it actually just means consolidation of the cannabis business into large, international corporations, and the brown people just find other crimes to commit.

She was also the Florida AG when Epstein skated the first time, and was the one who pushed to ruin ZimmZamm's life because he had the audacity to defend himself from a crazed nigger. I hope she gets torn apart by dogs, personally.
All the business with the Epstein stuff confirmed what I'd already started to suspect-that she's just enamored with the title of AG, and never intended to do anything of substance.

I don't get it. If this is the level of professionalism we expect from a first-world country, we are doomed. Please rationalize to me the point of this sort of posting. Also rationalize to me why Trump backtracking to the Epstein files is a good thing despite his assurance of government corruption being exposed to the wild. If not, you're just as bad as me with Hillary Clinton.
From my POV the whole concept of professionalism and maturity in politics went out of the window a long, long time ago when politics stopped being approached as an important, solemn duty and just as a sort of stepping stone for self-enrichment and celebrity; mass media also helping to pull back on this illusion is what spiralled us here, probably. Maybe professionalism in the white house died when LBJ took his dick out every opportunity, or maybe it was Reagan's Star Wars and jelly beans obsession, or it could've been Clinton receiving oral sex in the Oval Office.

It doesn't help that the right-wing gets ostracised for not maintaining the air of political decorum people expect of politicians, yet the Left's general ridiculousness in how their wing comports themselves when they don't get what they want (Protests; riots; generally throwing tantrums implicit or explicit) and their politician's contrarianism in spite of sense ("Hug a Chinese person day" during early Covid, touted by the likes of Pelosi since she didn't want to close the borders) that this little tincture of memery on Twitter doesn't seem so bad.

Another angle to consider: who's more likely going to see this tweet? Young people, who are receptive to this sort of thing, or old people who are less likely to see it? This sort of humour and general chicanery appeals more to younger people who've become gradually more estranged from politics and are baffled more and more every day by the complete lack of action they perceive from their leaders, who themselves give the impression it's not to be taken seriously as they don't seem to take serious approaches to issues that matter. What does a veneer of professionalism matter when it's blatantly obvious it's just that: a veneer. Beneath it we see a lot of deeply uncaring, selfish people who, even with the right language and presentation, can't hide what has become very transparent to people over the decades - especially to the more cynical youngsters.

I suppose a microcosm of the youth's changing outlook on politics, both left and right, is how they're campaigning and haranguing over issues that won't become reality until a decade or two from now if left alone. For the Left, it's climate change; for the Right, it's changing demographics.

TLDR: 1. It's online, so the only people who care about professionalism (older people) are less likely to see it. 2. "Professionalism" is irrelevant in the modern day if the "right image" doesn't actually translate into appreciable action. 3. The Left-wing started it, the Right is catching up; immaturity and humour appeals to a cynical youth.

Edit: Regarding the Epstein thing, isn't there a whole procedure/separation of powers thing there? Trump can't tell the FBI to release shit it doesn't claim to have and if he accuses them of lying I don't know what implications that'd hold and whether he actually force them do anything.

Seriously though, my entire life growing up to now, I've never heard a good thing regarding Rosie O'Donnell. Not in media, not in news, not from anybody. I think she was even in a movie once? But yea, it's like nobody wants this bitch around, ever.

The thing is, i don't even know wtf she even does. It's like she just exists.
Her most notorious achievement was spoiling the twist/ending of ‘Fight Club’ on her talk show, causing potentially millions in lost ticket sales, just because she didn’t like a movie about heterosexual white male social dislocation.

In most state where it’s legal they wrote the regulation in such a way that without being rich or a large large company your fucked. The only places with boutique cannabis storefronts are New Hampshire and Maine everyone else was regulated or taxed to death.

It’s really sad because during the boom it lifted a lot of people into the middle class and created a lot of jobs in my state. Good jobs too for small holding farmers, artisans, bakers, craftsmen and machinists etc. it looks like that’s gonna disappear largely

This one of the last businesses too where nearly all the Equipment is made in America, also disappearing.

She was in that TV movie where, like Sean Penn in I Am Sam, Rosie went full retard.

All the protest dynamite goes to blowing ATMs.

DREXEL HILL, Pa. (CBS) -- A suspect is under arrest, accused of selling dynamite linked to some of the 100 ATM explosions that have rattled the Delaware Valley. The Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office on Wednesday announced charges against Talib Crump.

Crump is accused of selling dynamite sticks on social media and allegedly told undercover police officers during a sting that dynamite sticks are "better than bullets" for robbing ATMs.

State prosecutors say Crump provided some of the explosive products that have been used to blow up ATMs across Philadelphia, a pattern that has since only intensified.

"At a time that millions in our country are calling for justice, these violent crimes of distraction are intolerable," Attorney General Josh Shapiro said. "They are a threat to our safety, but also to our freedom to assemble to protest and we will not tolerate it."
A Philadelphia-area man was sentenced Wednesday to 7 1/2 years in prison for his role in a string of explosions that hit cash machines in the city starting in 2020, netting him and two accomplices more than $400,000, federal prosecutors said.

The indictment charged Cushmir McBride, 25, of Yeadon, and two others with damaging six of the cash machines hit during a wave that saw thieves blow up about 50 ATMs. Some came in the days and weeks that followed protests across the city sparked by the fatal police shooting of Walter Wallace Jr., who was killed within a minute of police responding to a mental health call.

McBride pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges involving five of the robberies, while charges were dropped for one in Delaware, his lawyer said.

“It’s a tragic case,” defense lawyer Lawrence Bozzelli said. “He was really trying to get money to help support his family and he regrets deeply what happened.”
Straight up though, if people can get it this easily to blow up ATMs they can get it to blow up people.

Legitimate criticism of Trump: "Pam Bondi should not have run her mouth about 'Epstein files on her desk' just to look good for the camera. This is now a minor shitshow and an entirely unforced error."
Legitimate criticism of Trump: the Trump administration made a show of showing that they had the Epstein files, shared them with influencers, released doctored footage of Epstein's jail with a minute of footage conveniently edited yet, and then released a barebones statement saying that nothing happened, he killed himself, and he and Ghislaine were sex trafficking underage girls to no one at all the entire time.

Come the fuck on man. He's better than Kamala but he's covering things up.

Twitter is the modern Colosseum, the masses demand more ironic slap fights and esoteric memes! I only voted for Trump because I like seeing women lose elections, which he's delivered me twice.

Trump's biggest flaw is he is extremely hit or miss when it comes to hiring or just who he surrounds himself with in general. I gave up on the Epstein stuff quite awhile ago and indicated the best course for the admin was to just drop it.

There may have been evidence that tied very powerful people to their bad acts but there is no chance it survived the Biden administration unless it was against people on the right and even then the best move was to shred.

DC is run completely on MAD between parties and individual politicians. I doubt you could find a clean hand in either chamber, any branch, or even the most remote office.

Having one friend that's getting really blackpilled about everything going on with the Epstein list and losing his job to a fucking arsonist. I'm trying so fucking hard dealing with him because I don't believe that cutting people off is doing to do anything beyond making it worse. But, God help me, I don't know how many more doompost articles I can take where I'm not just repeating the same line of "oh boy, another unsourced claim from an anonymous indsider coming from a shitlib media company". All this is to say: check up on your friends because, even if they're not going through it, they might have their own friend going through it.

make that guy go outside

take him for a hike or something

I will say that I'm greatly enjoying the recent blitz of failed shitlib propaganda where a great big giant fat fuck of a boomer farmer with a net worth of 35 million visibly wheezes and struggles to keep his 400 pound gunt in frame while he tearfully laments that he won't be able continue without brown slaves that he can abuse and underpay.

I'm sure this will go over just as well as all those sad immigrant commercials where everyone pictured had "I heart rape and murder" tattoos.

Stalin was right, gulag for these parasites now.

She made a big unnecessary fumble and embarrassed her teammates, and in particular, the head coach.
I remember some cabinet guy under W, I think, responding with "I serve at the privilege of the president" or something like that. These cabinet members are there to serve Trump, it seems to me like Bondi is THERE to be a scapegoat, that's part of her fucking job description.

I'm sure someone has already had this thought, but all this Epstein stuff reads to me like the other various cover ups that would be fully declassified and revealed to the American public as soon as (and not a second before) the last person implicated in any crime is dead.

I expect we'll have a full reversal and reveal if any dirty secrets in 20 years
