I dunno. Maybe it's just the angle, but Aloy's face looks weirdly puffier than her face scan actress's. And do I have to explain how unflattering the hairstyle they gave her in her final design is? It would look awful on just about anyone.
It's also hard to give Western AAA studios the benefit of the doubt when it's been a known pattern for them to screw up the face scanned models on female characters way worse than male characters. Constantly blaming it on the actresses wearing makeup and the character not only goes so far.

If they're chasing that dream maybe they should emulate Genshin's tits-n-ass approach or CoD's "is actually fun to play" and "can actually find lobbies to join" approach. Aloy and Abby will never hold a candle to chicks like Ivy or Taki (Soul Caliber examples, but you get the idea; I don't know any names from Genshin

The concept might be interesting on a purely surface level, but beyond them turning her into a manjaw bulldyke in the sequel, the biggest problem is that the game is just fucking boring. The world doesn't feel alive, exploration doesn't feel rewarding, and combat is all spectacle with no substance.
