I'm in the same boat about Sam. I actually like him and his work, but his orbiters have become an albatross except for Nick and Chris. The fishtank guys absolutely fucked up, Jet is a habitual failure that knows how to cling to the first passing liferaft.

Sam would probably be doing a lot better if he'd just tell his supporting acts to go their separate ways and just take Nick to do podcasts with Stavy and Shane.

Sam is the attraction, the others have just been a sideshow with heavily diminishing returns and a litany of liabilities.

Their beef isn't really that interesting (it was mostly about how much he paid for him to come) but Alex also mentions in the messages that he had tons of e-mail exchanges with production and was supposed to be on season 4 or bloodgames - him appearing was made a condition for him to receive the season 3 payouts.
