Last time I checked George Washington wasn't a liberal.
It's very much semantics but he was by its classical definition and if one looks at the inspiration for the initial bill of rights, they see liberalism all over it. Politics and ideologies have developed over centuries like the sciences: making incremental changes and developments based upon ideas sourced from a previous lot of people. Thomas Jefferson was 33 during the revolutionary war, Washington was 43. The former was a bigger proponent of decentralisation and anti-federalism than the latter, so maybe Washington was less of a liberal than his contemporaries but in the time period where most of the world still favoured an incredibly strong executive over an advisory legislature, he was one of its foremost representatives.

Liberalism, similar to the words "feminist", "tolerance", and "diversity", have essentially been subverted from their original definitions by those seeking to alter behaviour.
Genuinely how did nick get any followers? He hasn’t grown up an still acts like an immature teen. Like how the hell was this guy seen as anything but a wimp?
He was funny early on, which is how you attract a predominantly male audience - Trump garnered a lot of support through this one simple trick.

2015 to early 2020 was Nick at his least shit. The Sam Hyde Wigger video was probably his last self-aware moment before his complete decline. Early on, his debates were with people who were usually worse than him morally speaking (Destiny). He wasn't particularly intelligent, but him being loud, pointing out the obvious bullshit and not taking things seriously generally worked for him. This was alongside his anti-immigration, anti-LGBT, anti-Israel rhetoric which was during a time mainstream conservatives were still trying to echo Liberal/Democrat/Leftist platitudes to appease immigrants, gays, and other Leftists. This was cathartic for a lot of younger Conservatives who saw the discrepancy in their politicians and other mainstream right-wing figures sounding similar to the opposition on a lot of issues. In a time when a lot of online figures who leant right were still making civnat platitudes, Fuentes was an early adopter of a lot of modern right-wing sentiments.

Of course modern Fuentes is so far removed from mid 2010s Fuentes that they're indistinguishable. He flanderised himself to the point of absurdity, probably because he knew what attracted his audience to him and so just gave them more of that - a lot more.

His decline matches the moral decline of Leftists when they're sequestered into echo chambers and receive only affirmation from their audience a la Destiny.
1. General eye-rolling sentiments towards women -> full-on woman hate, possibly to the point of becoming a homosexual as a consequence.
2. Anti-Israel, general snipes at Jews -> over the top hatred of Jews to the point where they're capable of god-like feats, being everywhere and behind everything, and pushed to the point where any lip-service of Jews = full-throttled control by them so cutting off your nose to spite your own face is unironically the best option.
3. Criticism of the GOP -> Democrats are better by virtue of not being as bad as the GOP, ties into the above point regarding Israel; applies also to the country itself when lead by the GOP.
There's probably a ton more I'm missing but yeah.

TLDR: He was funny, sort of ahead of the curve politically-speaking, nowadays an utter fag who leads an army of fags.

As long as the republicans are doing it, everyone itt will be seal clapping. They'll probably rationalize it by saying it owns the troons
A lot of people have not and should not shut up about the amnesty thing still on the block being bullshit though. Other than bait posting I'm not sure what cross section you're referring to here.

I bet that "Vote for me and I'll release the Epstein client list" is going to be the next "Vote for me and I'll lower the deficit" for the next, like, twelve years at least.
the deficit promise works because theres enough legislative and social considerations like medicare and welfare hurdles to prevent it. nothing stops the executive from releasing the files.

He was always a groomed fed plant. I would not be surprised if he's on the Epstein list somehow. It would certainly make sense with how many of his acolytes on this forum turn out to be pedophiles.
But he wasn't. I was a fan of his from his debate with Halsey until after Jan 6th, and you can see his decline after that point. I'm not sure if he's a complete fed now or just stuck in a self-made hell, but Nick was more genuine before. Now, he's just a seething faggot who can't take the W that he's had more of an impact on Conservative politics, but they won't acknowledge him.

>but they won't acknowledge him.

- The dude spent the entire election cycle pushing Kamala Harris, but changed his tune once Trump won.
Then change it again to being against Trump a couple days later.
- Got openly hostile over a meme about being married.
- He spent a couple weeks trying to push Kanye who dropped him after a call with his kids.
And this was while Kanye was spamming BLACKED porn.

Gee I wonder why they don't bother acknowledging him?

His earliest appearances were with a libertarian flag in his room extolling the virtues of the ideology and why we only need to cull illegal immigration and nothing else. I think his current disposition is the result of that ever-present downward spiral you see most lolcows fall into, where they double down and become more brazen over time with their insanity. I see parallels between him and Destiny, which is probably why they got on so well together.

Whilst being a coward + lolcow + narcissist doesn't discount him being a Fed outright, I think it's too much effort for ultimately little return. Pre-PewDiePie N-Bomb and the adpocolypse, it was really easy to make bank on all sorts of content, even the most contentious stuff; Fuentes got a ton of income and followers early on when the pickings were good and the algorithm was fair and he was able to daisy-chain it into his current... "empire", if you wanna call it that. I don't know if you've noticed, but a lot of the biggest political figures online at the moment were those who got their rise during this period, and I don't really think anybody new of note has entered the "scene" since, as it were. Like, the UK only has Sargon of Akkad and their main right-wing political commentator online - you would think during this period of political discontent, more would be flowering up, but there hasn't. No new American political commentators have come in either, the closest probably being Asmondgold, but he was big on Twitch before his occasional comments on politics. For much the same way Fuentes can be suspected of being a plant, Sargon could be viewed the same. Online discourse has largely been stagnant and so the political figures in the mid-2010s internet have made incremental changes to their views over time, some going slow but following a coherent line of thought (Sargon) but others making absolutely insane leaps and contradictions that make them look insane to people outside their community (Destiny & Fuentes).

TLDR: I'd argue Fuentes is a total embarrassment to the right-wing nowadays, and can be considered a detriment, but I think how he came to be is totally organic when you consider the state of pre-adpocolypse/pre-Charlottesville Youtube. You also see detrimental figures to the Left who inexplicably remain popular and successful who are spared the same accusations, such as Hasan Piker.

I know this thread is still firmly lodged up Trump's ass but I really think you guys do need to acknowledge how the Epstein thing has completely shattered the base.
Are we enjoying the same thread?

There is a huge diversity of opinion in this thread especially concerning President Trump. Diversity is our strength.

If you want a monoculture, see the Trump Enslavement thread. No wrongthink allowed there. Very not-diverse... very weak.

Inshallah.

Considering all evidence we do actually have (such as victim testimonies) points to Trump having nothing to do with Epstein's dirty work, I think at this point its most likely some sort of blackmail/threat situation. Trump and his team very well likely wanted to at least release something, but either all the evidence was destroyed, or there are threats being made from greater forces. Or it really is true that it is so society-shattering as to who is involved that it led second thoughts as to revealing it (although imo this is kinda bullshit).

The "why give up all this lovely blackmail" theory holds the most water IMO.

As far as the Trump shooting being faked, if there is a group that can fake a shooting such that the bullet only grazes his ear, I side with them.

Fair enough, dude, but I always thought Fuentes was a massive faggot. He reminds me of one of those skinny little kids in high school who would say horrendous shit and bully people he personally disliked for petty reasons, but start freaking out and hide behind school rules and administrators if someone fought back. His scruples undoubtedly end where an ass-kicking begins.

Historians a century from now aren't going to understand any of this shit. Imagine trying to explain this decade to an 8th grade class in 2125.

What a stupid time to be alive.

I think my only exposure to him early on was snippets on YouTube and the occasional debate; I never had unfettered exposure to him, mostly because it began and ended at YouTube. I think your assessment of him is accurate however. He possessed that mentality going into online politics before he even turned 18 years old, and he was rewarded for it, so it was entrenched in him mentally. If a lolcow sees gains from their behaviour, they're going to keep doing it, and often get worse too.
