Death Stranding - Hideous Kojumbo does it again

No they heal 1 hp per bug. You're actually eating dozens of them if you pay attention.
Oh, that's fine then if true. I only used it once and thought it was busted overpowered so I didn't touch it again. So I could easily have missed that.

Necrobiotes are pretty cool though. You don't get many from a nest and they don't last that long so they make BT zones scarier if anything.
Well, if they were as rare as they seemed. I got mine from exploring the big north crater and used it to recover the robodog, which I think meant I skipped a miniboss because of the way BTs were endlessly respawning there. That felt pretty cool and made me glad I'd gone out of my way to explore and found a rare thing (the only time the game didn't punish me for this).
... and then you get to that northeast fort city shortly afterwards and there's a sub mission to get some necrobiotes from the backyard directly behind the fucking place so I guess they aren't as fucking rare as the game says they fucking are. Kojima is truly the king of the wet fart.

Says it's a wage slave simulator with the main character being a glorified errand boy for the NWO/globalist order and the overly strong female characters throughout the game - with Norman's character being a stand in for the modern incel who doesn't have anything going for him, so he must sacrifice for the NWO and the females around him. Then he compares it to Blade Runner 2049 due to the similar plots, especially with the inclusion of some random VTuber.
That's just lazy. You have a lot of ways to criticize Kojima's world view but Synth lazily sticks to the same tired muh globohomo bullet points:
* MC works for NWO: The world order explicitly creates conflicts to push Australia to join it.
* Overly strong female MCs: Only tomorrow has any form of cutscene power, and in her case it's justified.
* Norman is an Incel: Just about everyone talks on how he is the most important person in the world, and even the one argument about him raising someone else's child is non existent.

Not that the game is super based. It's a convenient narrative that makes Kojima's messages easy to slot in without much issues. Like violence being bad because it literally creates anti matter explosions. Or that the issues with the world order manipulating events is swept under the rug.

Watched Synthetic Man's review. It's even more cringe than I had thought. All the glowing reviews on this is really just astroturf. At least it's in your face now how much of a globalist commie shill Homojima is. It's always been there but now he's just completely mask off.

If this was made by anyone else, it would've been panned.

Yeah, DS1 was a lot more based. "Don't kill babies" (the degree to which the themes poke holes in the abortion narrative were great), strong male leads, etc. DS2 does away with all of that to throw the female talent into a weird harem-anime-like context. Literal man-hating feminists, corporations are evil, cuckolds in the plot, etc.

more based
That's stretching it. That entire game is built around Trump winning in 2016. Because Trump wanted to end globalism (which was bullshit) and Kojima needs to have his Hillary Clinton stand-in, President Strand. God, he's so fucking abysmal and anyone who thinks Kojima is a brilliant writer needs to kill themselves.

I just want my funny metal gear game... why can't one hit wonders just keep doing more or the same. Artists branching out to new genres always leads to shit.

wait who was cucked
Neil or Sam depending on your viewpoint.

Tomorrow is a humanoid BT/extinction entity cloned from Sam's sperm that was temporarily raised by both men before being abandoned on the beach and temporarily repatraiated as Lou.

It's a typical convoluted Kojima mess so I'm not sure you can even really call it cuck shit.

Well I think he's always loved the smell of his own cum farts. And he had cowriters tard wrangling him. I've been saying it for a decade, but him being remove from future Metal Gears is a blessing. Konami was tired of babysitting him and his retarded long development cycles.

Cloned? He definitely says "she told me it wasn't mine", which means they were fucking, not "bitch stole my mojo in my sleep".
And I don't think Neil raised her; she told him about the pregnat and asked him to cover as the father, then he said he'll smuggle them out of the country/city/whatever and dipped to make arrangements. Then he came back 24 hours later and got shot trying to leave the building and exploded.

Unless you mean in the ghost world, but he seemed to be in some tortured last-moment-reliving hell loop of protecting/searching for her and carrying a doll baby around so I dunno. Looked like he had something to do with her getting called into ghostville eleven years later, but I guess other random ghost people were her ghost pals there. I feel like she woulda said something about it otherwise.

But yeah the hackneyed chosen baby-sue shit was fucking lame. I'd say it's a step down from even typical Kojima shit though, it doesn't seem like he was smoking his normal amount of weed even a little bit. It's more like some completely conventional copy-pasted Joss Whedon arc.

It's a shame since Lou being a special BB as the first ever offspring of a repatriate had some interesting potential in this setting. Barefoot levitating innate kung fu teen ain't it.

>Take mission to 'eliminate' a former security guard for one of the knot cities.
>Knock guy out then put bullet in his brain.
>Dollman launches into a several sentence diatribe about how killing is wrong, and "goes against everything a Porter stands for", and that I have a responsibility to have restraint against my enemies and to show mercy upon them.
>All while I am putting the dead body in my super convenient corpse disposing coffin skateboard.
>Throw him into a rock a dozen times as punishment.

Seriously why even let me kill guys then, Kojima? Like I am glad I have the option but still.

Wut, the organization Sam works for (BRIDGES) kills people all the time. They are basically the villains of the first game.

Hey, did you all see the part where a robot does a very gay song and dance and turns into a nigger? Man, that Kojima is such a genius! How does he ever come up with this groundbreaking stuff?

Death stranding proves that Kojima only worked under a heavy leash. He has "creative" ideas sometimes but that gets all lost in the sea of self indulging self righteous nonsense.

Weird that we went from MGS2 predicting so much to these games that seem to still be mad Hilary lost almost a decade later.

DSP is DSP but even a broken clock is right twice a day.

"Kojima is a fucking cocksucker!"

So I gotta ask, every single video and short that pops up about this game features the same Duran Duran song and is always something that's referencing Metal Gear.

So like...is this all the game is or just all anyone cares about?

The MGS fan base basically gaslit itself that Invisible was in the game when it wasn't

Skillup's review is up, it's largely negative much like my own but for a very very different reason.

His primary complaint is that there are too many guns and too much combat and not enough traversing empty landscapes doing nothing.

It genuinely shocks me this man has fans who take him seriously.
