Blatant sophistry has been his modus operandi since he started "debating" on the internet; anybody who has ever referred to him as the "greatest debater" should be genuinely embarrassed lol. His sophistry and dearth of knowledge is especially apparent when he starts talking about a topic that you have particular knowledge in. The only reason he's convinced so many people how "smart" he is, is because he is surrounded by people just as clueless as he is, or *was* surrounded by people that wanted access to his audience and couldn't afford to insult his intelligence or he would just ban them from his community. I also agree with you that Hasan is smarter than Destiny incidentally. Though, I don't watch Hasan that much so I'm not going to really go to bat for that opinion, it's just the sense I've always had.

And this is really apropos of nothing, but it is emblematic of his rhetorical "style" imo. Do people remember when the Hodge twins asked Destiny what a woman is? Lol, at that point, I suspect Destiny had been talking about gender and trans issues for literally years. In response to being asked what a woman is, he gave a nonsensical response, referred to the philosophical concept of 'qualia' for no fucking reason (because it didn't actually have anything to do with his answer), and he ultimately just avoided answering the question after rambling for a couple minutes. I think his answer there was incredibly stupid, not because I totally buy into the perspective of "a woman is somebody without a peen, duh," but because he had been talking about the topic for YEARS, and still couldn't come up with a coherent working definition in a casual conversation, because he hadn't actually bothered looking into any of the literature on the topic despite debating about it so much on the internet. Instead, he referred to "qualia" and "platonic forms" to the fucking Hodge Twins of all people because he desperately wants people to think he's smarter than he is. It's all style, very little substance.

If I had to give my predication, I see two routes for Lauren.

1. She has shown a willingness to tolerate evil, because of this, I see a high probability she starts making content with Destiny again. Almost all of the people she could have appealed to on the right have rejected her, due to her past relationship with Destiny, and her going public about the Tate stuff. Her only out now from being completely isolated is associating with Destiny and I guess ajw, and their respective audiences.

2. She disappears for half a year again and comes back. She was probably looking at the potential response to her book + accusation as being the barometer for whether she should come back. Since it was overwhelmingly negatively received by almost all right wing circles, she'll probably wait till after the dust settles until she does anything again.

Regardless, anyone who thinks she's quitting for good is retarded.

There’s a troubling dissonance here. If her own claims of sexual assault are genuine (which they deserve to be taken seriously) it's fair to question the ethics of turning that "trauma" into a selling point for her AI slop generated book. To pivot from performative content around politics to centering her public identity on her own experience is laughable.
She is what some might call "a simplistic person's idea of a complex person." Her public advocacy always seems to be entirely self-focused and shallow. As I said in my previous post, her and Destiny make sense together.

Despite everything that I've seen, at least I personally believe that the Turk's heart is in the right place, yes, even when he's advocating for violence, I believe he does it because he genuinely thinks it will lead to the "better" outcome.
Destiny isn't like that, I don't think his heart is in any place to be honest. I do not think he has any actual beliefs, and his behaviour proves it.

I do not really care about hasan or "political streamers" at all, but there is a big difference between being wrong for the right reasons and being right for the wrong reasons: Arriving to a bad conclusion from good intentions is a reasonable and natural development engaging with ideas, but arriving to a "good" conclusion from bad intentions requires a lot of intentional dishonesty.

So let say she wins 500k and the lawyers take 30% netting the lawyers 150k. And then the lawyers get paid another 500k in attorney's fees making their total 650k. Granted they actually have to do more work in this scenario but still they receive a lot. However if Pxie settled for 500k now the lawyers would only get their 30 percent or 150k. That's a 500k that Pxie's lawyers would not receive therefore they have an interest in this going to trial and not being settled.

These are ballpark figures and percentages btw I shouldn't be off by a lot but it is just an estimate.
