in AAA you can't, oblivion remaster being the way it is already tells a telling tale, especially with the Fallout3 Remaster coming soonLook, we've had this argument for pages before, so I'll cut to the chase. Name five 3D games that came out before the DLSS era that
Weren't ports from an outdated console
Would run at a high-end monitor's refresh rate at its native resolution at whatever the equivalent of a 4070 was back then (i.e. a 2-year-old midrange GPU).
I'll be impressed if you can even find one.

for indies you need to comb through alot of shit and slop in a attempt to find any game that fits the criteria but seeing how UE5 pushes you to use lumen on the tutorials... good luck.
framegen became the current crutch of AAA game devs to waste less time optimizing the game and more time thinking on how to chop the game in bits they consider valuable enough to put it in the super special limited edition preorder collector bonus pack.
i mean if you look at the AI-oriented gpu's you can see some nifty specs that would make them prime gaming material if nvidia cut in at least 50% to think of releasing as a enthusiast grade card and people would buy it because it's good shit, but nah they will focus on what you said, people will buy it anyway, jensen and lisa thinks?I figure their Neural Texture Compression shit will be the big new thing on the 60-series. That way they can justify keeping the same VRAM configurations. Plus general improvements to the current software suite.
