Putting aside being a cynical devil's advocate for a moment, the information that does exist should be released and censored if need be. If it's something or if it's nothing so be it, at least was something was revealed to the public. Looks like panic to me. Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that Trump legitimately wants to prosecute everyone on the Epstein List and everyone under him wants to do so. Well, the Diddy case proved that the evidence they had did not meet the legal standard necessary to prove racketeering. All the Prosecution did was he was fucking prostitutes. Since Diddy was supposed to be a lead towards the Epstein case, Bondi finds out her silver bullet is useless, so she doesn't want to prosecute based on weak evidence. That puts Trump in a bind because he promised to convict everyone on the list and take down that pedo ring. Now he can't do anything while everyone expects him to do something, so he freaks out.

If we just listen to how he's talking about it and don't assume anything else, it seems like somebody told him that something really important about "Epstein" (the files or case or whatever) is fake, and he believes it. He thinks of this "hoax" aspect (whatever it is) as a known thing and considers everyone who refuses to acknowledge it some kind of crazy asshole or enemy.
