The problem with harassment is it often consists of things that are each individually arguably constitutionally protected behavior, but are only over the line in combination. It's not like punching someone where outside of a boxing ring or self-defense there's no legitimate purpose for it. That's unambiguously illegal.

The thing is each of these could be claimed to be harmless shock jack antics individually, but are only disturbing because of their persistence and pattern. It also doesn't help that for a rather lengthy period, Aaron was willingly participating in the back and forth and cashing in on it.

I think there's a reasonable argument he was taking it as a classic shock jock kayfabe feud and not seriously until the events directly before he filed for the order, i.e. a fat, greasy pedophile and his nemesis Nick showing up in town to create a ruckus and get thrown out of places he frequents, which represented an escalation into disturbing territory.
