It's not clear, but I think he could indeed be saying "I'm addicted to the facade" (of pretending things are okay). Aaron wasn't using that much according to everyone involved, so I don't think actual drug addiction would be his main concern. He's not a very good writer, so it comes across as a melodramatic, but on the other hand it's a fucking private message that Nick has decided to distribute for dipshit reasons.

I feel more sympathy when Nick attacks Aaron and I don't have to hear Aaron's annoying voice responding to it. From a very basic sense, I'd argue Nick is doing something much worse to Aaron than Aaron did to Kayla. Nick is trying to ruin his ex-boyfriends life by sharing texts highlighting Aaron's self-doubt at his occupation, his frustration with his failing marriage and ex-wife, and now Aaron's admission of using addiction to escape. He's sharing this with people who hate Aaron for gay radio drama. You can bring up that Aaron mocked Nick for the arrest that Aaron avoided, and that Aaron endangered his kids by being around the Rekieta's and drugs. But Aaron's texts just spell out that Aaron sounds depressed once he comes down from the drugs.
I do want to see what Nick is not sharing. It sounds like he built up trust in Aaron to use against him. The theory that Nick was going to scam Aaron sounds more true as time goes on.

The entire proceeding was a mess. Both parties were self-represented, and it showed: Butch delivered his argument poorly, the judge was dismissive, and Melton spent much of the hearing smirking and arguing with the court.
The hearing took place in Atlantic City, referred to by the judge as the “entertainment capital of the world.” Unsurprisingly, she seemed unimpressed by two comedians airing their personal feud in her courtroom.
In contrast, Aaron Imholte’s case is unfolding in small-town Minnesota, where privacy laws are stricter and judges are less accustomed to defences rooted in entertainment or satire. That legal culture may favour Aaron.

What Aaron Must Do Differently
To succeed where Butch failed against Melton, Aaron must be prepared:

IANAL, but IF Aaron' and Ross W Montgomery can do that, and avoid the chaos of Melton vs. Bradley, the odds in Minnesota shift significantly in his favour.
