The global response to COVID should have already given you the answers to those questions. Most people love being controlled.

I don't know. That sounds all well and good but I don't think it's so cut and dry as "people love to be controlled." There's how people choose to comply to maintain group solidarity, whether they choose to make a show of complying when at a local personal level they aren't, the balance between feeding our families vs sacrificing to take a stand, etc, etc. Yes, I agree, covid was not a good sign, but it's not the end of history or the end of the story.

Just a small dose of realistic positivity for you today, fats, my man. Now, you may return to your regularly scheduled doomposting.

that's just "recent" history.
some feudal lord ruling like a god over his plebs would just disappear in the noise, if it was recorded at all. or stuff 500 years ago in south america that never got document. heck the romans apparently were into all kinds of shit like mexican donkey shows in the colosseum - and tha's the west in the last 2000 years.

I was thinking more of 2 specific developments, which are converging, imho...

1. The now widespread political idea that the statesman's only moral imperative is not noblesse oblige but solely and exclusively the continued existence of the state at all costs.
2. A truly global class of people who flexed their muscle as, for lack of a better term, an emerging class consciousness during covid.

As those converge, you get a psychopathic global class of people who are aware they are distinct from the rest of us, have zero morality other than preservation, and control the infrastructure to do whatever they want wherever they want. It probably will be grotesques beyond what the history books hold.

And people were giving Karen's shit. It really is the only way to get shit done.
I'm 99% convinced that the Karen meme was a psyop to paint a picture that the worst part of customer service is dealing with white women when anybody who's actually worked in it knows that's not the case.

Also to let corporations do whatever they want to fuck you in the ass and imply anybody who has standards is bad.

It’s ok to be GAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY 🌈

Here’s a white pill: things can change in the blink of an eye.

There’s a book I share a lot on here , Private Truth and Public Lies (Kuran), that gives the long form argument with historical case studies, but even in a “free” society the public is fickle, retarded and cowardly. Most people are cattle and if you can get a snowball of anti-homo going it will take most of the public with it.

You seem extra salty. you must be someone pulling VA Disability %
Tu quoque, the chosen attack of the passive-aggressive faggot. No, I’m not on my form of government assistance at all.
These are rookie numbers, and do not justify the number of over 30% of all vets pulling gibs out of a military force of over 2 million people.
Military service is inherently more dangerous than office work. That shouldn’t excuse society from looking after those injured in service. I don’t know where you get the 30% figure and I don’t know if it’s lumping in educational, burial, minor and major benefits all together or not. And frankly I don’t care, who the fuck would sign up to a system that asks you to potentially risk life and limb while telling you you’re on your own if shit goes sideways.

If you’re concerned about the expense, trim some of the bureaucratic parasites in the 410,000+ VA employees that look after the injured within those 2 million people.
But thank you for your service
I’m probably an outlier but I hate that shit. Just bring me my hot wings and beer, I don’t want a ‘service discount’.

What is it with stupid people and doomposters assuming that the loudest and most visible people represent the majority of people?

They don't. And they never have.
Were you on the Harris campaign staff? Because this is why you lost.

You know what I love most about the internet, it’s seeing commies talk great things about this brave revolution that will save the world or whatever, ever notice how that great revolution is just the rapture for gay nerds? They pretend all day to be some great ultra badass hero fighting the good fight, while all they do all day is type on social media and jerk off to sleep every night. It’s truly is pathetic how many people think they are some ultra badass.

it's all women. they're basically like chimping sheboons, just the color and behavior changes.

I'm joking but the karen meme works because everyone has that aunt/mom's friend/co-worker/customer seen probably more than once. if you got a kid in school half of them sit in the PTA or otherwise HOA (although you got a lot of dudes there as well getting a micro-boner over their little fiefdom) making everyone's life miserable.

the meme worked because everyone understood the reference and can speak from experience. too clever and organic for a psyop.

I get where you're aiming at, but global doesn't really matter for the boot on your neck. if you were some pleb getting shafted by french nobility there wasn't much you could do either.

depending who you ask getting ruled by some technocratic lizard people is not as bad as this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Droit_du_seigneur - which then inevitably leads to the fun stuff that article mentioned because actions and reactions are an endless circle:
When the plebeians of the Etruscan city of Volsinii rebelled against the aristocrats in 280 BC, "They took their wives for themselves and placed the daughters of the nobles under the jus primæ noctis, while all their former masters on whom they could lay hands were tortured to death."
so lots of rape and even more very ugly deaths, and that was over 2000 years ago. the same will inevitably happen at some point after people get forced into pods.

EDIT: thinking about it with this netorare could be considered an ancient fetish...

EDIT2: and since I just stumbled upon some keeping dismemberment alive here, it reminds me that parts of "humanity" will always be fucking dregs dragging the average down.

So it's settled then. We lost and TPTB won. There is nothing that can be done anymore.

It's especially important to understand that if you voted for Trump, you voted for this. You voted for your own demise and you no longer have a say in your future.

People severly underestimated their capability to think ahead and their committment to maintaining control over our lives forever. They fucking won. I'm not kidding.
In a roundabout way, you went from a doomposter to an over the top parody the exact kind of faggots who pretend they voted for Trump.

I'm so using this.

Also, communism has always been a secular religion, one which requires the kind of ideological enforcement that would make Scientology take a step back and say "Holy Shit, that's pretty fucked up..."

i remember the comet pizza website got posted on something awful and people were struggling to come up with explanations for why a pizza shop and ping pong store had a secret apache server where they had password protected downloads of dozens of encrypted and obfuscated ~200mb zip files
View attachment 7663861

must uhh... must just be uh.... all of the promotional materials! yeah! it's an archive of their promotional materials!
The guy who founded Comet Ping Pong was James Alefantis, who changed his name from Rothschild. He was gay with David Brock, the guy who ran Media Matters and was a huge part of the Clinton disinfo campaign in 2016. His Instagram, before all of this came to light and he shut it down, was filled with weird stuff. He would fly to Europe all the time and posted pictures of zip lock bags filled with pills and party drugs. Totally normal for a totally normal pizza shop owner! And totally normal to change your name to James Alefantis, which matches suspiciously close to "J'aime les enfants"—French for "I love children" (and which, when transliterated into English from French, comes extremely close to James Alefantis).

I absolutely believe the whole idea that Pizzagate is some retarded conspiracy theory is one of the greatest coverups in American politics. I saw his Instagram myself before it was all shut down—I will never be convinced by some NPC spewing Rachel Maddow talking points that everything was all kosher.

I’ve pushed through my initial impression that @Fatpacks is a deranged shitlib and now firmly believe he’s actually a 150+IQ trueborn MAGA chud parodying the ever loving fuck out of HHH: TDS edition (as opposed to the other HHH @Hunter Hearst Helmsley whose politics I cannot comment on).

Stephen Colbert's final episode of the Late Show needs to end with him putting a gun in his mouth and blowing his miserable brains out in front of a live studio audience. This corrupt whore fed Democrat propaganda to millions on a nightly basis.

Kimmel's the type of coward who would hang himself in his house and let his wife and kids find him.

Somalians are so fucking disgusting looking even people who can't tell different nigger breeds apart can tell they're extra suhuman. Trump needs to institute beauty based immigration policy. If there has to be foreigners here they should at least be fuckable. If he won't then vote for me. FIELDPIECE 2028 NO MORE UGGOS IN AMERICA
Aren't Somalis like mixed with Arab or Arab-adjacent ethnicity, yet still somehow one of the most inbred races in Africa?
76% of Americans were on private health insurance before the ACA came in to play. Many people who didn't have it, just didn't want it because they were young. They also didn't care because in that time, you could schedule a doctor's appointment, get in that week, and it would cost you $50 to be seen, at least in my area.
ACA did for healthcare costs what federal student loans did for college prices.

It’s ironic isn’t it despite communism great claims of breaking away from the “shackles of religion” it ultimately becomes one.

It should end with a DNC musical number. Get the gang together and throw a party!

If I can say: you are an outlier. For an armed forces guy, you are one of the smartest and best informed I've talked to. Not saying they don't exist and not to be cliche, and many I've talked to are good guys and sort of keep up with stuff but they're not brainiacs. You hold your own very well in convo and I'll admit, you bring insight.

I get where you're aiming at, but global doesn't really matter for the boot on your neck. if you were some pleb getting shafted by french nobility there wasn't much you could do either.

Ah, yes, I hadn't thought about it that way. I sorta had in mind how with new global governance, it will be impossible to escape it...but then, I suppose the Frenchman who was watching his wife get raped again couldn't just pack his bags and move to the next town over or whatever.

I do think, however, that what we will see events in the future where it's not just a 100,000 dying or whatever, but millions at a single go. WW2 was what, 70 million over 6 years? Think 5 million over a few weeks. That might sound like hyperbole but that appears to be the trajectory of humanity.
