Second, years ago, back in 2013, during one of the first episodes of the American version of the game show the Chase, Cory Anotado of Buzzerblog appeared as a contestant on the show, and managed to split a cash prize of $180,000 by defeating the Chaser, and it was the biggest, and only win, in Cory's many years of being on Game Shows.

Why does this matter now? About a Week ago fellow Buzzerblog contributor Alex Davis posted on Bluesky about a Chase promotional event that he went to holding a panel with some of the Show's staff.

What's probably the most interesting though is this post right here of him at a Game Show panel in 2013. It not only confirms that this is still Alex but it also does raise questions about Cory's appearance on The Chase as at first I doubted that they brought Cory on to get good reviews, but seeing another Buzzerblog member on the show is odd. Eitherways it shows how much Buzzerblog's influence has collapsed since then as they have never been at another Game Show Gala since.

Was there some sort of dirty dealings behind the scenes by having Cory win $60,000 in exchange for having Good reviews for the show?
