To do our work properly we needed access to certain databases and shared drives, but these are handled by different jurisdictions.
The entire fundamental concept of segregating basic shit you need as a programmer is completely and entirely a result of shitty Indians jeeting up the tech sector and the dipshit corporation being unable to admit it's just jeets that are causing the problem. In America if you purposefully fuck shit up, it's called negligence and you can be sued over it, which works because you are white and have an address. Corporations know that jeets will not be sue-able. India has extradition with the USA but everyone knows how it won't go anywhere, there's 20 of them living in one room and they are all named and look the same. Jeets are masters at getting a job and laying low for fucking
years then all of a sudden changing shit so that everyone has to ask them for access now. Note how every white company doesn't have any of this, "oh see u have to ask a team that then reaches out to another team and then requests access for you so that you will get it 30 minutes before the end of your last contract day". Again, corporations ASSUME that if a jeet gets into the database they are just going to drop it within the first 10 seconds.
There is no fucking reason why the programmers can't have access to production databases it's just smelly jeets who jeeted it up.
I literally could not believe the first time I heard at the shitty corp I worked at a long time ago, when I heard that.
>>"Oh see yeah see you can't attach a debugger to production you guys don't have access to where the software actually runs"
>So how do we solve the newest problem they put in?
>>No idea ask Pramjeet
>>Oh right see what you have to do is log everything like literally every single line so basically think in the fifth dimension of every possible thing that could go wrong
>>Also you can't view the logs they go to some shitty logging software also because there are so many incoming logs because we log everything because nobody has access to production, the log server is spammed so it only holds things for 24 hours also we won't tell you when the customer experiences the problem
>Ok so can I access that?
>>No that's a different shitty jeet
>So basically to solve one ticket I have to spend months writing logs for every possible scenario, spend 2 months spamming some shitty jeet to get them to accept the PR, then spam some shitty jeet for another 2 months to get access to the logging software, then spend 2 months refreshing the log server hoping my exception gets hit so then I can see what the problem is then solve it in the code then spend another 2 months spamming the first shitty jeet again to accept the new PR
>>Yes that's how we do it here
>Or you could just give me access to production
>>Not possible not possible you see, a bunch of shitty jeets always get in there and leave backdoors and fuck shit up
>I'm white though
>>Yes but because a bunch of shitty jeets fuck shit up we can't let you into the server because we assume you are just going to fuck it up too
>I actually want to do work and keep my job though
>>Yes but we have to assume that you are not physically here and you are in India and you are just scamming the company for a few months so you can live off that for 10 years
And I'm the racist one...
Whenever you see "oh we need to remove everyone's access to basic shit" it is because of jeets and they have HR looking over their shoulder and they can't just say it's because of jeets so the only logical way out of that is to shit up the entire process and basically let nobody in
Again go try this in any other industry go to a car repair shop and tell them "so yeah we've been in business for 10 years but 3 months ago, some gangbanger spic faggot (OH SORRY HR IS WATCHING LOL! I meant, interesting individual that may or may not be brown) we hired, stole a $10 wrench so we have an "Authorized Faggot-Nigger Professional Tool Faggot Manager-Fuck (TM)" that you have to go write a form to and wait 6 hours to get a tool and you can only have one tool checked out at a time, we're so smart"
