Umamusume: Pretty Derby - Horse fuckers and gacha addicts get sent to the glue factory

TL;DW - Kitasan Black drop rates for the current banner are estimated at 0.5 to 0.75%.
Got her in 3 rolls lulz.

The info page for her current banner says "Support cards newly appearing in this banner will also appear in future Support Card Scout banners." I take that to mean that they're at least guaranteed to return for future limited time spotlights, but there's no mention of future general availability. I've heard talk of the next guaranteed appearance being part of a half-anniversary banner, but I need to check the source for this. For the moment, I'm basing my pulling decisions on the following video:

TL;DW - Kitasan Black drop rates for the current banner are estimated at 0.5 to 0.75%. This means you are likely to need between 400 (57.8% chance) and 600 (93.9% chance) pulls in order to Max Limit Break your Kitasan, factoring in both direct card drops and the pity system (one guaranteed copy can be claimed for every 200 failed pulls). Assuming a fresh account with access to discounted paid carat packs, this will cost anywhere from approximately $308 - $728 (USD).

It's worth noting that if things go according to Japan's schedule, the global version should be getting her separately on her own banner later. Her lower chance comes from sharing a banner. There will also be vouchers for guaranteed picks in the season events. At some point, we'll get the currency that allows you to limit break supports. It might take a while, but even if you only manage to get 1 copy right now, there will still be future and free options to max it.

If Cygames is good about anything...

It only took me $150 to get Kitasan Black. In that same time, I got 8 other SSRs and 3 Satono Diamonds. 10/10, would whale again.
I saved up 16kish free carats and in those 120 pulls I got 3 Diamonds & 1 Kitasan Black.

I've only bought the $14 package so far and in that 10 pull I got 3 SSR's... no Kitasan Blacks. I did get a 4th copy of Satono Diamond.

I keep hearing this, and reading their abilities and every other support cards abilities I simply don't understand why.
I kind of wish I rolled for more twin turbos instead, my level 35 of that has been my MVP since the very start. Her skills seem way more relevant (though KB does have some good ones) and TTs events always give me so much speed and great front runner tips.

Can I get an autistic breakdown of why KB is so good? I feel like I'm pretty good at the game by just reading what everything does, but just by reading what everything does I can not understand why KB is so good. I've read things like she has a lot of events that improve your mood, and I couldn't care less about that because I am always max mood. So what is it? I am genuinely curious for a fully autistic breakdown, it will make me better at the game.
She also has an event that gives the Practice Perfect condition. Kind of like how the Sweep Tosho card is valued for giving the Charming condition.

However her best asset is a high Specialty Priority at level 45 and onwards, which is invaluable for friendship training since every type of build needs high Speed. That's why she's a run of the mill good support card until 3LB and MLB where she becomes busted.
I've read the componist for umapoy worked on metal gear before, but to write it he had to chuck a bottle of wine and dance in his underwear. :story:
no idea if true
I can confirm the Metal Gear part, he composed the main vocal themes for Peace Walker and Phantom Pain.

Guys I love Gold Ship. She's a fucking retard but I love being a spoiler and making her go from last to first in the last half.
Also is there a Kiwi Farms Group yet?
Yeah, the whole cast of this game is really elevated by having a designated Based Retard™.

Something I'm really enjoying despite its simplicity is the trophy collection and race planning autism. Once you get the feel for a given trainee's career arc, you can target certain races for more efficiently boosting your fan count or for the chance of race-specific Sparks. It looks like the URA Finals spark that you get for winning the URA championship is the best, but multiple G1 Race Sparks can be inherited and the potential boosts get stupidly powerful.

I can't get my horses to be fucking A rank and it's making me ANGRY and Rice Shower won't succeed at her FUCKING career. This game is hitting me hard, lads.

Yeah, at the moment I'm pretty hard stuck at B+ until I can improve my support decks for higher specialty priority and get some better legacies. For now, I'm just repeating careers and hoping to get some 3⭐ stamina or power sparks.

TP isn't a problem for me yet, but it will be at some point. I'm willing to burn some of my reserves in order to finish the event reward schedule, and aiming for one new trophy per run is keeping things from getting too stale. On the topic of event rewards, those Scout Tickets only being good for a single pull is really chincy. I don't see any reason to expect we'll ever get them in numbers large enough to feel meaningful.

I'm playing this game entirely F2P. I generally do not spend money on microtransactions at all as a personal rule, and I still have fun with the horsegirls. Low IQ faggots literally can't reconcile in their heads that people can like different things than they do.

If you're getting stuck, try to find a group with some people with some really good Umas you can have as a guest legacy that's compatible with your best's running style and has good sparks. That's how I finally managed to beat the URA Finale.

That seems to be problem with gacha in general. People read plebbit front page stories about some subhuman unable to control their baser urges and maxing out the credit card because of anime girl jpgs and assume that gacha games literally grab your wallet and twist your balls until you pay.

Yeah some shit publishers like G123 are like that but that's facebook/google play store normie tier stuff. There are a ton of legitimately good gacha games that are fun to play entirely F2P or even close to it. There are some with great stories that blow western shit out of the water, too. Not my fault that redditors play shit games, that's their problem not mine.

If someone's freaking out about muh animu gacha games they're most likely a subhuman retard who loses control when they see a shop page, and are just outing themselves as such. They're also most likely just as susceptible to the vastly more predatory ultimate team shit you see in Madden and NBA games now. No one has any right to freak out like a somethingawful goon about anime games when that shit makes more money and is way worse.
