I actually unsubscribed from Adam a few weeks ago because after Nick left it looked like Adam was starting to take the "center-left talkshow" bit seriously and trying to turn the podcast into what is essentially the Doom Scroll podcast (which sucks) but with a few self-deprecating Adam jokes thrown in, which doesn't really work when its just Adam and a random guest. All of the guests he's had on have been so terrible that I finally said fuck it and unsubscribed when I saw Artificially Popular Zoomer Lefty Streamer No. 42069 as a guest.

No, people afraid that woke ideology was widespread and would tank their business is what destroyed lives and careers. Not one single woke boycott had any negative impact on a company.

It was and still is a joke. Woke essentially burned 60 years of built up political capital in every domain they influenced to have one lame-duck term as President. In exchange they lost control of the Supreme Court + both houses of congress, they lost nationwide enforced abortion via roe v. Wade, the Civil Rights act was gutted, they lost affirmative action, they lost their foreign propaganda arm in USAID, they lost their stranglehold over education via the DOE being gutted, they have no viable presidential candidates or platform because of woke, the list is endless. Every institution they used to gatekeep and manufacture respectability has lost its reputation. That is the definition of a joke and we didn't even have to violate our cultural norms to destroy it.

I don’t trust any country in the Middle East, even Israel, but I appreciate the updates he brings to the thread whenever a conflict is occurring. I’d argue the 90s primed social justice to win, essentially setting up their end game in the 2000s. It’s just that it took them a decade and a half to blow all their good will. I say this because I know a lot of republicans and conservatives at the time basically acknowledged that social justice was important. For whatever reason they ceded moral authority to the left.

I haven't listened to the show in a while but this one felt like Adam was either
a) fed up with this guy being emblematic of what he would normally consider his side and really fucking Harry hard over it expecting some come to Jesus moment but Harry never budges on sucking lib dick
b) realizing might as well go down the MAGA route because while he might not MAGA, at least people can bust balls and talk and not pretend to be a human
