I also love how half the anti ai arguments are fucking nog tier "but i did eat breakfast today though". Yea congrats you have discovered that most conversations with coworkers is just meaningless slop. That's kinda how it works, if you had good and meaningful conversations with them then you would be calling them your friends not coworkers. Would you prefer them to go back to talking about the weather and other meaningless slop? People do things they think are cool and are proud of and want to share those things, unless you are clinically autistic then the normal response is to just go yea that's cool and leave it at that if you don't care. These people just want to show you something they enjoy, they're probably thinking the same thing about things you say to them too. They're literally just trying to start a conversation, if it wasn't with something they made with ai then it'd be about the weather or some whore they know that's pregnant or some office drama. Getting annoyed at people trying to make conversation with you is genuinely autistic. It pisses me off when people at work show me something they made with ai. It's always someone borderline retarded showing me their little fictional world and roleplay profiles they made for all their imaginary friends. Just slop junk. Looks like crap too. You can always tell.
takes one second to say "that's tarded"takes two seconds to say 'that's cute' and leave it at that
And you're still a sperg for dissing your co-workers for showing interest in something while you blow them off as being beneath you, so you come here to post about it expected to get stickies and praise(??) on the AI thread about anti-AI spergs.takes one second to say "that's tarded"
*Dissing my coworkers for showing interest in basically eating their own boogersAnd you're still a sperg for dissing your co-workers for showing interest in something while you blow them off as being beneath you, so you come here to post about it expected to get stickies and praise(??) on the AI thread about anti-AI spergs.
You're not winning any support if it needs to be spelled out for you.
Did you read any of the posts in this thread? Do you read any posts in any thread?*Dissing my coworkers for showing interest in basically eating their own boogers
Sorry I didn't know this was actually the ai fan club thread. I made a mistake. Seemed simple from the title. Now I know.
There's been countless people come into this thread and say they hate AI. Those people were listened to and more often than not agreed with. You were not because you came in and sperged about how you're too autistic to deal with basic social interaction. This isn't an AI glazing thread, that doesn't mean that this isn't kf, people will still call you retarded if you are being so.*Dissing my coworkers for showing interest in basically eating their own boogers

Thing is, it's not that "AI in 5% of cases doesn't produce slop," it's that a real person with an interesting idea and the perseverance not to accept a slop result put a little bit of effort in to get something specific and good from AI.It's always telling when people change their opinion to the polar opposite after they found out who made it. They can't admit to anything that would mean that AI in 5% of cases doesn't produce slop, no, it has to be in 100% of cases totally garbage, otherwise they'd have to admit that their side is flawed and not 100% right with everything. Either total victory for their stupid camp they side with or nothing, but certainly not a non-absolute position, and it's such an infantile thinking really.
AI was used in the making of this insanely disturbing video. You can get lucky and 5% of the time get something amazing with a nothing prompt like "cool wizard casting dope-ass spells," but most of the time when you see something good made with AI, it's because a person with a vision was behind it.

I mean it's just like everything else, you get out what you put in. AI doesn't produce slop 5% or 95% of the time. It produces 0% slop if you give a shit and 100% if you don't. It's a bit like looking at corpo memphis slop and saying that all artists produce that because you cannot have any variation in how much someone cares or their intentions, every single person in a niche acts the exact same as everyone else in there with them.Thing is, it's not that "AI in 5% of cases doesn't produce slop," it's that a real person with an interesting idea and the perseverance not to accept a slop result put a little bit of effort in to get something specific and good from AI.

Like, to clarify, twenty waifus.AI art is amazing. I have SO MANY new custom waifus it's insane.
This couldn’t sound gayer but that’s the beauty of art at the end of it. Human effort + intent makes it what it is, be it through experience or dedication, which fuels exp.It produces 0% slop if you give a shit and 100%
Well, maybe. If you shat something together in 5 min through Midjourney, we can tell.
You’re right, I didn’t consider that. But I also think with AI, the less effort or thought really put into it, the more the end result would only be praised for the machine, not for the person ‘’’responsible’’’ for the output. I don’t think anyone would hire you for their wedding photos for a pic where your dog’s the star, you just happen to have had a camera on hand. But there's also the curation aspect, recognizing that this is something really cool that needs to be shared with others. Same as someone taking casual photos who recognizes "holy shit from this angle it looks like my dog is shooting flames from its mouth, this has meme potential."
Oh can you show me something that looks good that comes from ai? I've only ever seen tasteless dogshit but I'm open to changing my mind if you have anything you're really proud of or something you think looks really good!AI doesn't produce slop 5% or 95% of the time. It produces 0% slop if you give a shit and 100% if you don't.
