Parker and Stone kinda low key surprised me.

With all the shitlib shows and progressive sneerathons being canceled left and right I thought the public's appetite for "haha Blumpf is bad and orange and has tiny bad orange peepeepoopoo hands and also a tiny orange dick haha!" Jokes was on its way out but they just got paid a literal billion dollars for just that.

The "smol peepee" angle is also odd because Drumpf humor is generally directed toward the types of people who would eat you alive for making fun of a woman's bust size. If the Left practiced what it preached, it would fully acknowledge that immutable characteristics aren't indicative of any character flaw and thus lack punch as insults.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I've always found the explicitly political episodes to be much lower quality and significantly less funny than the ones where the they just make fun of a random cultural trend like cooking shows, or Minecraft, or Guitar Hero.

Compare Make Love Not Warcraft to any of the Garrison = Blumpf episodes and it's like night and day in terms of quality.

I will say that their pro-Trump A.I. generated version of Donald Trump running naked in the desert while using “micro penis” as an insult is something that I would expect from a BlueSky user, not from a duo that has been doing this cartoon for almost 27 years now.

Do you guys really not get the joke? Trump uses A.I. all of the time on social media. He just did an A.I. video of Obama getting arrested. They are simply mocking Trump using something on his level that he would have used himself. Has nothing to do with Stone and Parker being low effort. It's literally them goofing on Trump's own A.I. posts of other politicians. That was the inspiration.

You could argue Trump rolling around like a fat retard in the desert with no dick was not clever or whatever. But the use of an A.I. parody was just them responding to Trump directly. The jokes were meant to be low effort and simple because it's a political attack advertisement meant for idiots on reddit. And South Park has done the "this guy has a small dick" joke a million times. Remember Carlos Mencia's episode? Or the penis measuring episode? It's clearly one of their favorite running jokes.

I honestly wish the media would stop giving South Park any attention. No I don't care if they're making fun of Trump or Biden or trannies or whatever. I just hate hearing them talk about current events. Ignore them. At least that will probably send a message better than seething at them would.

Paramount is part of CBS and all of their other networks and stations including radio, television, streaming, internet, even print. Meaning that South Park is going to be promoted incessantly on those networks to try to recoup that $1.5 billion investment into the show. They have an entire team of people whose job it is is to post South Park material all over social media.

The show has been written for social media praise for the last decade at least. Probably two decades. Reddit responses unfortunately drive every single aspect of the show. It's not trying to make an outside force responsible, it's trying to NOT make a character into exclusively a caricature. They have now cornered themselves into making 2D jokes about a massive politcal figure.

They never even did this when they were making fun of Bush. And they made an entire spin off series about Bush. He was still more than just a caricature even if he had goofy ass moments.
