A quote from the same article.

They're far from having it "figured out". There's a running meme in the science community that Fusion is always "x years away" because people treat scientific progress as a linear trend. Being able to do it is one thing, being able to do it AT SCALE is a whole other ballgame. It's not free energy if you're only getting a 50% increase of your input. Imagine what it would take to power a metropolis with those numbers.
It was thought by many to be impossible until 2022. You’re right they don’t quite have it figured out but the original claim was that fission is coming and it will alter the course of humanity. The fact that it was proven to be experimentally possible is a giant step towards fission that shits on naysayers.

I really don't care one way or the other; but, correct me if I'm wrong, isn't gas usually not flammable but it's the vapors that are flammable? Is it really a good idea to vent it?

You would be surprised how many fucking retards keep gas cans in their car, or some other confined space. I'm not a scientist and I could be wrong, but I feel like we are about to get some sick viral videos of cars and sheds randomly blowing up

It is only supposed to vent while pouring. Otherwise, air has to enter through the same passageway that the liquid is going out of, which leads to unpredictable streams and accidental spillage.

That's what the original EPA requirement was trying to prevent, making it so the gas can will not vent fumes until you open it to pour gas out. The side effect was that this severely limited the flow of gas because they didn't design it with a vent to increase fuel flow. Now the Trump admin is telling them to design them to do both, prevent fume leaks and vent to increase fuel flow when filling a tank.

I don't understand, I used to use cans that had a little plastic nub on the back that you popped off to allow a vent for this exact purpose. Why is this a problem we have to solve?

How has this not already been solved?

Ive been listening to the Ana Kasparian interview with Tucker today, its not too bad. They make a pretty good effort of shining the light on the small hats.

Interesting discussion about Christians having more rights in Iran than they do in Israel. Imagine that.
All it took for Ana to start become ever so slightly based was one round of corrective rape. I volunteer to be the one that does it to her next time. She'll be throwing Romans by the time I'm done.

Do you people know that it's possible to make fake reports and fake files and have them fake stamped and approved? It's REMARKABLY EASY.
If you need an example, look at the state of scientific research with the replication crisis. Or how about in 2022 where it would found that the leading theory on Alzheimer was based on manipulated data? Even in the world of observable research, people are able to get fraudulent papers published even after (supposed) rigorous peer-review study. So, if they can get away with that, they could probably get away with scribbling away a date and time on a piece of paper and claim it's from a document that no one else has ever seen before.

Allegedly it is because manufacturers weren't sure if such a vent would be compliant, so they opted to remove it just in case. The Trump admin is saying those would be compliant, add them back.

Would be pretty funny if Trump pardoned Clinton and half the Dem establishment for “any crimes committed against children on Epstein Island”.

And simultaneously make a statement that he has seen the list but it unfortunately won’t be released.
This attitude has been a disaster.

"It costs more than locking them up for life!!!!"

Well, then fucking kill them instead of coddling them.
Well thing is, if you want to sperg about “let’s just kill all dealers” you can, but it’s pointless without considering how judges and courts would fuck the whole process and make executions take decades to be carried out.

You might as well go: “we should just WISH drugs out of existence!”
