I think its a nuanced issue and if you feel like there is a simple easy solution I have a bridge to sell you.
You're cherry-picking what I said which is a libshit tactic. I'm encouraging you to be better. There are ways to make your points without coming across as someone who hates America and you're failing at it.

I know we're shitposters here but it's metamodernism; sincere expression filtered through insincere language. You're either missing the nuance or being intentionally obtuse which, either way, is lolcow behavior.

I don't want to milk you but you're making it too easy.

permission that has expired or was revoked = no valid permission

visa overstay and illegal entry might be different technical terms but the end result is the same (your presence is unlawful, you are not supposed to be here) and therefor the appropriate response is the same too (you leave)
Right but you typed ‘did we give you permission’ which they did not ‘do you have permission’ which they don’t. I’m a pedantic asshole sometimes lol

I’ve come to notice something with gen z, and that is that many of them kinda just flip flop from being far right to far left depending upon the day really. Like most of them kinda just go from on extreme to the other. Gen z will no doubt be an interesting generation to study in years to come.

Billionaires are largely behind financing open borders, rainbow flag politics, and ruining your favorite entertainments with niggerfaggots. So it is perfectly reasonable to lean right economically, but also decide that there really is such a thing as too rich. Personally, I like not living under communism, but the fact that one guy, Larry Fink, controls so much investment capital that he, personally, has made it impossible for me to find a job where I'm not required to salute the rainbow flag every June has made me say, "What if we just shot you the moment your net worth rolled over $100m?"

Call it Pol Pot Capitalism.

Despite having advocated the abolition of private property, Zohran Mamdani says he’s not a communist. He calls himself a democratic socialist. Along similar lines, the Marxist dictator who destroyed formerly wealthy Cuba was not a communist; he just wanted “social justice” too:
Part of me almost wants this retard to win just so NYC gets what it deserves. I’d feel bad for the few sane people still living there, but at this point it might be easier to find those 10 good people in Sodom.
Then again, I’d prefer to never see his pajeet face again, and make like the only good red. But I’m kidding myself, if he loses he’s gonna be the next Beto Robert Francis O’Rourke: constantly popping up to run (and loses) because neither he nor the dems realize nobody wants him.

Didn't see a link to the executive order described in the tweet, so here it is

It does sound like a good idea to bring back the asylums, though they need to make sure at least this time they are well staffed and not the horror shows they were in the past. Though it probably means fewer lolcows to laugh at if this goes through lmao
Over the past 20 years or so, there has been a pretty obvious attempt to conflate asylums with sanitariums. I guess it's because "sanitarium" sounds like "sanity"?

Sanitariums were where we put people with tuberculosis so they could die. They were open-air structures so air could flow through and prevent TB from festering and infecting the staff. Asylums were places where we put mentally broken people.

Of course asylums were going to be miserable places, they're full of broken people. But there has been an obvious attempt to turn them into death camps.

This isn't getting into the issue of rape and abuse in asylums; that was very much a thing. However, that also happens in hospitals today. It's just downplayed.

I think its a nuanced issue
It's not. It's very straightforward. No jury trials, lawyers, judges, etc. are involved. Due process is ICE requesting and checking ID. Is the individual in the country illegally? If yes, the remedy under law is deportation. That's it. Full stop. All she wrote, etc.
If you want a nuanced issue, an example would be "Should we deport all of them? Surely we can show mercy to at least a few. Surely we can work out a path to legal status." Lots of gray areas in that one. No gray areas, however, in individuals in the country illegally are subject to immediate deportation - that's the law, in black and white.

IDK what point im trying to make with all this its just weird to learn that our elite troops did such reprehensible things to save there own ass and then to be spared by the very people you sought to kill,

There is no such thing as a clean war. Not excusing their behavior, but look at any conflict close enough and you will see behavior like this.

The worst thing about the south Park stuff is they committed the cardinal sin, ignoring the most important rule of making fun of trump: You have to actually be funny.

I've listened to plenty of people making fun of Trump. People who like him, people who don't like him, people who support him, and people who don't. I laugh routinely even if it's clearly meant to be a jab because they don't like him.

It's not even hard. There's plenty to make fun of, he's a bombastic guy. But he's also recognizable, and has a very identifiable personality.

He has a big ego, he loves bawdy gold shit, he makes weird statements, he does a ton of cameos, he loves models, he goes off on people who get on his bad side, he comes up with funny/juvenile nicknames for people who annoy him, he has a distinct speaking style, he oozes New York.
There is so much material it's like comedy easy mode.

Yet despite all that they go for... he has a small dick and some rehashed situation from years ago? You could swap out Trump with literally anyone else and it would be the same exact joke. It's criminally unfunny. They do nothing with it. There's nothing uniquely Trump about it so why even mention him at all?

Waste of fucking air time. Pisses me off. If you're going to make fun of Trump please for the love of God at least be funny.
I can't find the image now (and I won't even be mad if someone posts it and gets more stickers than me) but one of my favorite Trump jokes was a picture of him with the wind blowing, the edge of his spray tan on his forehead on full display, and someone saying that it looks like their Tupperware bowl after their spaghetti is in it.
It's like white people jokes. You can make them (my friend has one where he jokes that all white people have an internal ranking of the quality of french fries at different places) but you have to be  funny.

Call it Pol Pot Capitalism.
That's about where I am.

I "believe in hierarchy" like an old-timey conservative and I think Randian idealized capitalism is the least shitty system yet imagined. (Normal white people and Japs do well in it, and they're the only people I care about.)

The current system is so fucked up and bullshit that anyone who succeeds in it needs to be put in the pile of skulls. The ones at the top of the present hierarchy are the worst people who've ever lived.
