When Reagan did away with involuntary commitment there had been a few high-profile cases of wealthy people who were secretly committed by family members after their money. Some had been held against their will for years.
First of all, why should ICE agents have to unmask when people are out there doxing them, threatening them and their families, and actively seeking to do them harm (as we've seen with the multiple attempted shootings at ICE facilities?) Why should they have to expose themselves, and more importantly their families, to unnecessary dangers and threat to life and limb, just for enforcing laws? How does that accomplish the ends of liberty? Unless your going to argue some "tree of liberty, blood of patriots" type retardation. In which case: fuck off fed, and even then there would hypothetically be much smarter targets than Jose Gonzalez and John Smith the ICE Agents.
It is a difficult job dealing with both dangerous and vulnerable people and the pay is likely no where near enough. I am sure we will face an absolute bombardment of MSM articles showcasing the disorder and abuse of "Trump’s asylums" while suspiciously not showing the names or photos of the staffers doing the abuse.
