Pedro feels like he's being pushed on us for some reason. Like, I don't know how organic his rise to fame was. I liked him fine in Game of Thrones (and still wish he'd won his fight against The Mountain), but after seeing him in a billion ads and then cast as Joel, I just get this feeling that the media wants him to become the new face of TV. I suspect his PR are making the most of his popularity, which I think is genuine because he's been in a number of nerd-friendly franchises. The fact he's almost certainly gay, an aggressive trans advocate and has anxiety issues means he can do no wrong among 2 rabidly obsessive and protective fan groups. One of those is emotionally stunted adults, who love the 'daddy' characters he plays in The Last of Us and Mandalorian, and need him to be hecking wholesome. He's also got a fanbase among middle aged gay men, i.e. the people who dominate online gossip forums, so everything he does is lauded in the over-the-top language of the drag scene. I have no idea how much of the online popularity is genuine obsessives and how much is PR push for a rich kid finally getting big roles.

Honestly I have no idea what he is on about. There are no public toilets in the London Underground generally. There is a paying one in Piccadilly Circus station as I recall, it's the only one I have ever seen. (And we don't call them "washrooms" in the UK, that's the American word for it. McCloud lives in the Republic of Ireland.)

Ren has apparently decided to file an EEOC complaint. I'm really not sure where they're expecting this to go because:

1) the employer never took adverse action against them, their coworkers just used their deadname for 1 day.
2) I noted this in more detail on the litigation thread, for EEOC specific regulations and practices there has been a noticeable shift in how they're dealing with gender stuff, to the point that an organization that gives free legal advice removed their entire webpage on gender dysphoria.

Ren is also claiming that multiple coworkers saw the original tik tok and that they had shared social media accounts previously with one coworker. If being "stealth" is this important to you then maybe don't share your social media with coworkers????

Like I sympathize with a young person's first run in with nosy coworkers, but the correct answer is to just fucking lock your social media down and don't make friends at work. And brush your stupid hair.
