David Hill, Anna Krieder, Matt McFarlane, Paul "Ettin" Matijevic, Shanna Germain, Connor Alexander, Venger, Adam Koebel... So many to choose from.
That's a good one, although most of them seem to be long gone from the scene. Let's add Jessica Price and Stacy Dellorfano from the #metoo era. Neither of them are active in tabletop anymore either, but they are hall of famers for sure. Jessica moved on to grifting video games, and seems to have burned her bridges even in that industry, and Stacy, who knows where that crazy hag ended up.

Add Arcadum to that list. Aka Jeremy Black. He was a fat and shitty DM who did a bunch of livestreaming, purely so he could attempt to get into the pants of other women who streamed. It finally blew up in his face after he tried it with a bunch of vtubers in vshojo and failed(got called out by someone else), eventually tried to make a comeback a couple years ago and failed. Before the bullshit he was known for having his head up his ass about his personal D&D setting("The world of Verum") acting like it was the greatest thing in the world and getting into arguments with people about it. The chasing women online shit was called "grooming" by some people, but they were adults. The original dumpster fire was around 3 years ago, then he tried and failed a couple of years back to restart his career and it hasn't gone anywhere.

This is what his stream stats used to look like compared to what they currently look like

It's not just twitch that has gone to shit, it's his youtube channel as well.

Well if he can't get people to watch his streams even though he knows so much about TTRPGs, what is there to do instead? A kickstarter for his own game system he's been working on of course.

Somehow he managed to get someone to buy into the $7,777 so that's where the buggest chunk of that $17,211 came from with only 15 backers. I'm not sure why it only has 1 back but shows 3/5 remaining. Some moron has apparently pledged damn near $8,000 to have this idiot DM for him.

This guy covers a bit of his cringe. It's an hour long video, but it's only the first 25 minutes or so that's actually about Arcadum.
Here's the original tweet calling him out for being a thirsty retard
You can see the comments in the thread there, but the original twitlonger is dead(it's been archived in his thread in PG) but this dumb shit goes both ways and a Kiwi summarized it here. As I said, the original peoeple who tried to cancel Arcadum tried to claim it was "grooming" but everyone involved was at least in their 20's.
There's also a PG thread which but it's out of date, and doesn't have his latest kickstarter bullshit or how bad his online "career" is currently going. There's been some crossover with other lolcows too like the Gordoverse and others due to VRchat ERP and all sorts of other bullshit.

Add Arcadum to that list.
That nigga. Lol. I had wondered how his return after going to feminist reeducation camp went - thank you for providing the answer. Fucking kek.

My guess is even despite no actual diddling happening, he is radioactive toxic for getting outted trying to get ERP out of vtubers. And all his viewers were not his fans but fans of the e-celebs he had on his stream.

also dude was just not a very good GM. At all.
He had a bunch of vtubers who had never played D&D and he immediately goes full "Well you should have known..." GM on them. And after the fact had "training sessions" with them off stream.
Gah. Nothing irritates me quite like a GM expecting new players to be proficient in a game. Same for a board game.

purely so he could attempt to get into the pants of other women who streamed.
Just a reminder he was just ERPing with them in VR Chat. Nigga destroyed his brand and his life to get polygon ass cheeks clipping through his helmet. lol.
Like the Rooster Teeth guy at least got to fuck that girl he groomed a couple times once she turned 18.

The chasing women online shit was called "grooming" by some people, but they were adults.
It was one of the extremely butthurt vtubers who was super pissed she was just another e-girl side chick who tried to get "grooming" used to describe the situation. That was in the middle of a bunch of minecraft streamers getting outted for grooming underaged fans, so she was trying to get the online hate mob fully whipped up.

They were all very much adults, all well into their 20s. But being vTubers, they tried to pass themselves off as 12 year olds with little girl models and I guess that includes trying to say they were groomed.

That's something I honestly find a little weird about the whole thing. He was a shit DM, apparently a shit person, he can't keep an audience of his own, has basically no charisma or "rizz" as the kids might say today, of all the people to do some sort of TTRPG collab with... this fucking guy?

Gotta get them victim points.

I wasn't expecting this idiot to be in the middle of a failing kickstarter but there it is to tack onto his joke of a career. And yeah I know he was into the ERP shit, but I can only assume the end game was to attempt to get into someone's pants at twitchcon or some shit.

He had an in with people and afaik when did the DnD collabs, it was when DnD had its peak pandemic userbase among tourists

As @Sunflower Samurai says, he had some connections and D&D was taking off due to pandemic.
Edit: Oh shit I just remembered, his girlfriend was some E-list streamer Tiff the Teifling. She still streams, I don't see any news on if Jeremy has been allowed back in the house or not.

But I'd argue he got picked BECAUSE he had zero game... but had the right sort of politics and a girlfriend; that is, even with the e-gooning, they didn't find anything else on the guy. No grooming teenagers, no gamer words, no poorly aged correct opinions about trannies. You could have him DM your stable of virtual pedobaits (and a tranny with TTS. lol) and not have it blow up in your face. I mean, the dude had open season declared on him and the most you got was a couple other e-girls going "yeah he cried tying to guilt me into cybering". And the one girl getting his boner rubber on her leg (as he cried).
I'd also argue that becasue he had a girlfriend he was probably viewed as "safe"; i.e. wouldn try to stalk/date the vTubers or since he wasn't in vTubersphere, wouldn't stir drama.
He'd also done a lot of cross over short campaigns with other E-Celebs so its less he was talented and more that he was vetted.

I'm also going to say the streamers he collabed with were not the A-list. They were like C-tier which is why instead of realizing "Oh, this pathetic loser was sliding into EVERYONE'S DM's trying to get them to shake their polygons in his face on VRC by crying. Lol. What a loser. Blocked." and moving on quietly with a "We are too busy for the campaign" you would have gotten from anyone popular, they instead tried to form a cancel mob, because they needed the publicity boost to attract some whiteknight simps.

Other than being spineless, what the dude DID have was solid art. He/someone he got to do the work put in the needed autism to have his interfaces slicked up and good maps, etc.
I want to say "presentation" but that's not right because he fumbled with his SFX a lot, but he had them.

I recall someone posted him DMing for some group of experienced players and his graphic overlays not quite working and getting roasted for it and being a sort of shitty GM.

Gotta get them victim points.

He has/had a girlfriend, who I'm presuming he is leeching off of now, and she very clearly ran the relationship. And he was willing to burn down every bridge with his e-thots immediately when she found out and clearly gave him an ultimatium, so I think he was too pathetic to actually try to touch any of them IRL (also add in the fact most vTumors are like 4s on a good day) and he knew it.

I think he almost certain could have fucked his sound girl - Her BPD ass was very much in love and is really the only person (besides his g/f. And I guess maybe the girl who got his boner on her leg.) who I think got 'hurt' by the mess. There was one of the E-Celebs I forget who, not Momo and not the fat nigress, but the other one who was really pissed when she found out she was just another ERP girl for him. I think he maybe could have fucked her at Twitchcon if he would have put in the work to arrange a discreet meetup, but I think she just wanted someone to ERP with while being forever alone. Also like 90% of the vTumors who "attend" twitchcon do so remotely so I don't know it would even matter.

Anyway, dude was fat, his girlfriend was fat but not ugly and he knew he wasn't going to do better than her. So she ran the relationship and he wanted to have some play-pretend where he wasn't a pathetic "he'll do" henpecked, and was actually popular and had women interested in him.

That's what it was then. Because she's also a vtuber which would have fit the "safe" bit assuming he can keep his mouth shut about her he could do the same with the rest.

Something funny I never noticed before but just spotted when looking up her twitchtracker page and then back at arcadum's. She gets an average viewership of 36 viewers, and is still at the top 1.07%... ranked 75,481. Arcadum with 22 average viewers is at 1.37% ranked 96,949. I had to check the stats page of the 1000th place streamer to find someone that was still worth tracking as a percentile and that's still within the top 0.01% of streamers on that site. The guy at spot 9995 is within the top 0.14% with an average of 237 viewers. It's fucking amazing how anyone bothers trying to start a "streaming career" looking at this shit without either doing something incredibly unique, or having connections because otherwise it's just fucking impossible and a waste of time.

I had a relative, who before Overwatch 2 came out, was rank in the top 2% of overwatch players and I believe cracked 1% for his main.
There were still triple-digits of people ranked ahead of him in both, aka he was not even remotely close to being "professional".

Also the reason people still try is the same reason there are something like 40,000 retards who come to LA to make it big in Hollywood. Retardation, main-character syndrome, narcissism, and the fact 1% of those people do manage to make a modest income eventually. (while completely forgetting that if they applied themselves like that to nearly any other career they would have been more successful - but then they wouldn't be FAMOUS) while dreaming of being one of the 0.01% who do actually make it big.

Additionally...
Streaming is generally how you farm and maintain a fanbase but the real money is youtube ad bux, because that shit stays there forever (unless you say things about trannies and it gets demonetized) and just keeps giving you passive income as long as you work the algorithm; maybe your video makes you something worthless like $1 a month. You make a 1,000 videos and now you're making $1,000 a month.
There's a bunch of more shit to say here about how its usually a side hustle and most of those very small streamers have some other income stream, its something you can sort of decide how much time and effort to put in and its generally a bunch of young people with more time than sense.

But also, its not just views its subs. A twitch sub is about $2.50/mo in streamer bucks.
But I also got the impression that didn't matter. Tiff and Jerry seemed to have non-streamer sources of wealth. I think it might even just been parents rich enough to buy them a house, because once you aren't paying mortgage/rent the money you need to make to live comfortably drops drastically. I also can't remember if it was them or someone else who was basically renting out a room or two to other small time streamers.

I guess I think its more hilarious that: Tiff was Jerry's in, but he got more popular than she ever was or likely will be. But she made him burn down their ticket to easy street because he wanted to get the lamest sort of validation. And now its back to also rans.
(tbcf: I think her losing her shit over the music girl was completely justified. They never fucked but that was definitely cheating, but there were better ways to unravel that.)

God, now I sort of want some follow up on their relationship finally ended up.

You can thank stranger things for that.
The fact this dude ever became noteworthy is definitely one of the Stranger Things, yes.

If you were forced to play a GW game or not play at all. Which would you pick?
Mordheim. It's a skirmish level game with enough RPG elements for me to give a shit about for me to want to play it. I don't much care for minis gaming, but the way Mordheim did it interested me.
