I kinda agree with some takes, like "just" using docker not being that viable in a lot of settings. The vid certainly felt pretty naive to me. Still not a reason to go against SKG, at all.

Edit: the claims of docker images violating GPL is just absolutely retarded figtreed.

As to why a game dev streamer is running a ferret rescue, it's personal. While grinding away in game development, Hall adopted two ferrets that were used as "laboratory animals," and realized he wanted to save more.

Even the fucking editors are puzzled.

Also, the "Ludography" (ludo = play/game) section is fucking retarded. Not even Romero has that. It's directly from circle-jerk gamedev hell, that's the only place I've ever seen it used appropriately.

Using JSON as a primary source of information is the surefire way of getting nothing but lies. Especially when said information can make mald look like a victim (his favorite internet status) when spinned the right way.

I still cant fathom why theres people who believe Jason and KronosVII being reliable narrators in this entire thing
with that being said,
I didnt know he was exceptionally petty enough to try and get people's discord groups banned because it hurts his feelings.

you gotta understand that reddit gamedevs will defend the state of the industry regardless of whether they actually work in big companies or not, theyre just hiveminding opinions

reddit is the absolute worst place to get feedback on anything from, which already sets the bar for the level of discourse, so when you add a topic like SKG into the mix... well, you cant really expect to get worthwhile dialogue
