The truism “Get woke, go broke” applies not only to companies that succumb to neoliberalism but to whole regions — like New York and New Jersey, which have lost $142 billion in income in the past decade.

Stephen Moore reports:
1753728773728.webp

From 2015 to 2024, New York has lost 2 million residents.

Even before that, the population of New York State had all but stagnated back in 2006, when it was already unlivable in every objective measure.

[T]he movers are taking a lot of personal income and purchasing power with them. From 2012 to 2022, New York has lost $111 billion in income while Jersey is down by more than $31 billion.

Because the income is lost forever — except for the rare cases when the exiles move back — these income losses accumulate year after year.

Not many will be moving back. That would be like getting over the Berlin Wall, then going back the other way.

High among the reasons to avoid Democrat rule is excessive taxation:
New York, New Jersey and California are the three biggest losers in the interstate migration sweepstakes, and they just happen to be the states with the highest state-local income tax add-ons. The big winner states like Florida and Texas have no income tax at all.

The highest income tax in the entire country is inflicted in New York City.

Now one of the leading candidates for mayor, Zohran Mamdani, wants to raise the tax on the rich by another 2 percentage points.

How many of the billionaires this silver spoon Stalinist demonizes will stick around to be looted?

Shitlibs are reducing their Northeast/California bicoastal power base to pockets of rust. The silver lining is that blue states can serve as a cautionary tale for the rest of the country and the world at-large.

Democrats might be able to prop up blue state populations through mass Fifth World importation and by bribing women to have babies out of wedlock. If they can replace enough of the productive citizens they are driving out, they might prevail in national elections. Then the other states will be forced to perpetually pay their bills.

Fortunately, the Founding Fathers avoided directly proportional democracy so as to prevent densely populated regions from enslaving the rest of the country. You can see why libshits want to abolish the Electoral College and even the Senate.

Yea I'm in the same boat.

I can seethe about migrants and all the retarded shit that's gone on regarding them and immigration, but at the end of the day any actual issues I have with them is minimal.
The closest thing I have to an actual issue is the random Consuela I watch walk on to my neighbors lawn, where she picks and eats crab apples off their tree.

Europe though? Holy shit I couldn't even begin to imagine. The idea that you can be some random 40 something dumbass, who prior to dealing with immigrants didn't give a shit about politics, suddenly get your whole life flipped upside down because you said something like "Why are all these Muslims here?", is actually insane.
Eurpoors are beyond saving at this point, they have stage 4 tumors all throughout their bodies, the best thing to do is let them die, as they rot away. They chose this path let them see the end of it.

Do they even have to listen to this in anyway? I am pretty sure a Judge does not have the authority to tell both congress and the President they can not decide where money goes
The Court has the power, under Marbury v. Madison, to judicially review the law, even spending bills, and strike them down if unconstitutional. Or enjoin government action if unconstitutional as applied, as is argued here. A more obvious example would be if it expressly violated the Taxing and Spending clause, such as if a Duty was not uniform throughout the US.

But you are generally correct that Congress has broad power under the Tax and Spend clause, which courts have very very limited power to overturn. Constitutionality of the exercise of power is one of the limited exceptions to that.

Lol! So they scammed Trump again, like they did with their “5 percent” imaginary NATO contributions?

Lmao!

For such a stable genius, it’s kinda weird how a bunch of Eurofag bureaucrats keep tricking him.
I'd prefer Trump not follow through on his promises over the Democrats keeping theirs.

Oh damn, Eurofags lied and screwed us out money? Well shit, Trump fucked that up I guess.

That as opposed to,

Oh great, another executive order from Kamala limiting gun ownership, and I guess since there are no federal judges randomly slapping it down we need to wait for the supreme court to decide on it.
Oh wait, now they're attempting to pack the supreme court? Cool.
Well there's no way it could get worse, right? Wait... Now she's re-implementing Biden's proposal to have the government pay off student loans? Awesome, I guess I'll be paying extra in taxes for like, the rest of my fucking life.
There's no way it could get worse though right? Shit, hold up, Kamala passed an executive order allowing how many Palestinians in as refugees? Oh and she's sending them to red states? Cool, thanks, hopefully my children don't get unexpectedly raped by "State"-man.

It's odd hearing from the media here in Sweden proclaim that Trump won against the European Union regarding the trade agreement, considering our media has TDS on steroids.
Would be interesting to know how other countries are reporting on this.
Everyone is saying the same. Trump completely and utterly fucked the EU. A French newspaper compared it to Europe's treatment of China in the 19th century.

So I don't get the few posts on here saying Trump has been duped.

Beside that, the tariffs standing are by themselves a victory for Trump
Trump has the power to set the them to whatever he likes without EU's agreement. He kept them half as low as he liked on promises that EU did not intend to keep. That's not a victory. Is it terrible for US? No, Trump can just readjust the tariff rates, but nevertheless it was a waste of time.

how do you feel about windmills?
Windmills were great before electricity because you could use them to automate tasks like grinding grain.
However, using wind turbines used to generate enough power for swathes of households is incredibly inefficient and retarded.

We have superior energy generation capabilities, so why bother with wind?

How is it not a victory when they're dropping tariffs while ours stay up as part of an agreement? Do you think Euro-Reddit is seething over nothing and are just being hysterical for no reason?

I don't really get why people are saying Trump got screwed. I don't know why people see it as a US loss. I don't know why the leftoids are laughing about it. The EU duping Trump into a deal they never intended to keep their word on isn't a win. They act like Trump can't do anything about it and hasn't done anything about it when shit like this happened before. He LITERALLY started a trade war with China by tripling tariffs on them. What makes people think Trump won't just turn around and change the deal? America doesn't just go away.

I don't know what retards seem to think international business is like. You can't legally swindle your way out of this. There's no court system. Trump can literally go in and tax every good out of the EU at 10000% tomorrow and demand cash, and if that means bankrupting the entire fucking continent, he absolutely could. Why they would go out of their way to piss him off is beyond retarded. This isn't a fucking gypsy scamming you out of $10.

Do you remember when germany was demanding that russia keep pumping gas to them without payment and the reasoning they used was "WELL WE HAVE A CONTRACT SO THEY HAVE TOOOOOOOOOOOO"? The logic some people use reminds me of that.

We have superior energy generation capabilities, so why bother with wind?
Wind energy is almost the perfect "green" energy in theory. "The wind always blows, might as well capture some of that energy and use it ourselves!" But the wind doesn't always blow the same strength, or consistently, so you have to have specially designed inverters to make sure you don't start generating too much power and breaking the grid somehow. And they have to be able to rotate to meet the wind, so they have to have hydraulics to move all that mass. They need grease to keep turning. They need access roads built for maintenance, which around here they have to pay a farmer for both the access road cutting through their field and the lease for the actual turbine. They need 24/7 mobile units just in case for repair.

So even if the wind power itself is green, building and maintaining the turbines absolutely is not. What's their lifespan before needing an entirely new inverter because the old one doesn't generate power anymore? How many times can you fiberglass patch a blade before it dissolves catastrophically? How much land would we have to trade the ability to grow food on to build enough turbines to meet our needs?

How much time, money, and effort has been wasted chasing wind energy? It all comes down to wind energy having the least legitimate complaints against it. People are afraid of nuclear melting down, afraid of coal emissions being belched unmitigated into the skies, afraid that hydro-electric destroys ecosystems and STILL makes greenhouse gas, and hate natural gas because extracting it is messy, and even normies know the sun goes down so solar only works half the time. The only thing they can complain about with wind is "the view is ruined" or "the birds are dying" - neither of which "weigh" as much as "saving the world from pollution" like the gretards believe they are doing.

Wind is the only thing that is kind of naturally sanitized for normies to accept without question, even if those questions would be worth asking.

If your partner feels free to lie or ignore half of your agreement on flimsy pretenses, they will feel emboldened to ignore the rest. Trump must either renegotiate into a contract based on respect or ignore his end of the deal and turn up the flames until EU feels obliged to obey its part.

Hate to admit it but I've fallen hard down the police body cam hole on youtube over the last month, have watched probably a couple hundred videos at this point.

My main takeaway is that it's a miracle cops aren't murdering more people. You have to have the patience of a saint to put up with these fucking people. There is no way I could do it, like seriously, and I consider myself a very calm person typically. But so many of them behave like literal children, they go around putting innocent people's lives at risk (especially in car chases) and then when they're finally caught they place all the blame on everyone but themselves, cry racism, and of course scream about how they can't breath.

And yes I love how bodycams have fucked over typical narratives. Something I see a lot in videos is the criminal claiming they ran because they thought the cop was going to shoot them and the video will cut back to earlier in the video and the cop still has their fucking gun holstered. Get fucked you whiny faggots.
If cops &/or Whites were as hideously racist and evil as I've been told, I could probably buy shaving razors at the CVS without needing to find someone to unlock the case.

This is why I say the rest of the western world is dumber than US and people underestimate how smart the "Dumb Americans" actually are.

ignore his end of the deal and turn up the flames until EU feels obliged to obey its part.
Let's not kid around, we know which option he will choose. Trump learned the first time around these countries can't be reasoned with unless you have a firm hand.

Look up ‘lot rot’. American trucks are in massive oversupply, because they’re poorly made and overpriced. Even Tacomas and Tundras aren’t selling with 70,000+ unsold units on the market despite them being marginally better than F-150’s and Rams.

I saw footage recently of a woman pulling an Escalade apart with her bare hands. It was horrifying to watch, I’ll see if I can find it again. But basically American ‘luxury’ vehicles are expensive tissue paper with frequent severe reliability issues.

If anything’s going to hurt the workers of the US auto industry it’s c-suite shitheads making bad cars and charging too much for them.
I'm not necessarily saying this is untrue, I don't know a damn thing about cars or the car market so i can't say one way or the other.

But I know youtube and shilling very well and that channel is 100% a paid shill channel.
shill (1).webpshill (2).webpshill (3).webpshill.webp

I've worked for many of these in the past and i've also had roles where my job was basically to be able to identify them. Everything about this, the thumbnails, view counts, comments, the way the guy looks and dresses, editing style... it all screams paid shill. I would bet $10,000 on it.

I would put my money on some Chinese source for several reasons
-They love to use traditional polo shirt wearing white guys. Also the name, generic american ass first name "thomas" with a vaguely unusual last name so it's believable. I promise that isn't his real name.
-The thumbnails use the phrase "it's over" a lot, CCP shills have been trying to use chud terminology lately because they want to capitalize on isolationism tendencies.
-Some of the thumbnails and titles have "let it rot", which is a term for a phenomenon in China where the youth are checking out. This is an attempt to flood that search result with "west collapsing" shit instead of "china collapsing" shit. I promise you they 100% do this intentionally. I did edits for a company where the "financers" were adamant about us putting the word "Evergrande" in things that showed american infrastructure failing. And yes, if there's text in the thumbnail that will influence youtube search, they've been doing that for years with image recognition.
let it rot.webp
-Since 2020 there have been a ton of chinese sources offering money to youtubers to praise chinese cars (specifically BYD) or shit on western ones. I used to get emails all the time from the most sketchy ass ESL sources offering money to say vaguely pro china shit, or take an anti western stance on something that involved china, but they would never SAY china.

It could also be a used car company, an insurance company, or even a rival car company in the US who are putting their current strategy on "our trucks are cheap and affordable", there's technically laws against this sort of thing but all sorts of companies do it all the time.

Again it doesn't disprove what you're saying, it's just as possible they're trying to capitalize on something real as they are manufacturing a narrative from scratch. But make no mistake about it there's nefarious intentions behind that and the videos will be filled to the brim with bullshit and emotional manipulation. Whenever you see channels like that just ignore them.

(Sorry to sperg out, but again I used to do this as a full time job so my brain just automatically does it whenever i see a channel)

Also we’ll see how it plays out it’s a journal that leaked a source. He has no qualms reapplying tariffs as we’ve seen with Canada and Mexico.
