What are chances he was actually misdiagnosed and his PTSD was just schizo affecetive dellusions? I mean, he was never Sexzally abused by Mike, or anyone. Andy himself basically said Janet made him lie so she could get rid of Mike. However, 2 records state he sexually abused Joe.

Andy is there because he's a type of batshit insane that's kind of adjacent to BPD-types. People joke about BPD standing for 'Bad Person Disorder', because that is functionally defining the box that doctors put them into, its actually depressing to think about. There is no meds to make Andy stop being a piece of shit, they can give him various meds to tame some symptoms of other psychiatric issues, but there's nothing they can do for a severally mentally ill patient to cure his personality/conduct disorder. It's all on Andy to remember to be human, but he can't/won't. Deceiving and manipulating others is a pathological part of him.



If I can remember correctly "Normal" people (really relative term there) diagnosed with it have the unenviable fate of needing persistent therapy for handling day-to-day issues and there needs to be a clear desire to be better to those around them, which does happen but is a rare outcome. Andy is an imbecile and too much of a narcissist to handle being that type of human being, with goals and empathy like that, his impulsivity is too high and his thought processes revolve too much around him being that 'main character'. He is disconnected from reality in a special way that cannot be undone, like Andy's mental thought process when doing his antics, he is convinced that the comebacks and stuff he does is pulled off as flawlessly and brilliant as when he thought them up in his munted, self-absorbed brain.

SSRI's are not addictive; they can have withdrawal effects, but so can other medications that are not remotely physically or emotionally habit forming. SSRI's don't have to be permanent or life long treatments, in fact, they work best when combined with therapy (like CBT or DBT) and can be entirely replaced during treatment or with another treatment method like TMS or EDMR.

Though Andy is volatile, with previous diagnoses at different times listing bipolar, I believe Andy leads people on with misdirections that they shouldn't put much stock in, but be that as it may, a bipolar diagnosis wouldn't be the smoking gun. Even if he is bipolar as fuck, a malingerer is usually more fucked than that.

Andrew's behaviors that got him in there go far beyond a simple bipolar diagnosis, and we've seen the many medical documents from Andy listing these other disorders also, often enough that its validity doesn't seem questionable even if Andy's doctors/playthings aren't unanimous.

It's still hard to tell whether Andy is truly delusiobal or being manipulative here. For all we know, this could all be an elaborate act. He pretty much has all the hallmarks of a psychopath.

These are not delusional disorders, they unquestionably know they are lying. There's some room for questions when manipulators tell a lie for so long they almost start to believe it, but it is still not a delusion. It's funny you're noticing that because Andy's cheating of the system is so chronic that its cited as being the reasoning authorities would repeatedly use to deny his later requests to administer even more diagnostic testing for autism, which he would request over and over even if he had failed it earlier that day a 7th consecutive time. It's a recurring point in a lot of tard-services hearings that he would pointlessly force to convene because he was unsatisfied with this recent result.
