It’s extremely obvious when the show should've been cancelled. I don't even rewatch episodes past season 10, never will. It was stale back then. The movie should've been the definite end but nope they keep shitting them out.

In high school I took a class about American entertainment. We reviewed a few Simpsons episodes, but it was telling how they were only in the golden age. I don’t think most people think fondly of the show past Season 10.

Saw a dream today with some kinda Top 20 moments of The Simpsons, some were real, some were typical dream bullshit, and one involved a joke that a serious, I think war?
Movie (some irl one, but I do not recall which) was shown to kids with every swear replaced by either "kermit" or "kermit the frog" (depending on lenght), and everybody sat there, unamused, but Bart was crying how hard these people's life is.

A couple weeks ago I was passing through a town in PA while backpacking. It's got a population of only about 3,000, nestled in a narrow valley between mountain peaks, surrounded by farmland, is 98% white... and the gas station attendants were fucking Indians.
