His birth mother was a drug addict who passed him around to pedophiles for drug money. When he was 2 years old, another woman basically bought him and eventually legally adopted him. She had a string of live-in boyfriends who beat Michael. He was removed from the home and placed in a psych ward as a child multiple times. When he was around 8-10 his adoptive mother had a biological daughter with some random who was never really in the picture. Six years later the adoptive mother died. Michael went to live with his grandmother (adoptive mother's mother), and the daughter went to live with an aunt & uncle. The daughter made the abuse claims and the aunt/uncle cut off all contact with Michael. It's only been in the past 2ish years that they reconnected. I believe it started when Michael & Heather got married.

For a while Michael lived in NC. I think that is when he had Cody & Emma. I don't know too much about him during that time.

EDIT - I want to clarify that I don't think any of this excuses his behavior now. He is a piece of shit who should never be allowed around children.

I learned about this gross fucker yesterday. These poor children. The screams of the mother in the fake ink video scared even me - an adult and it's disgusting how she secretly laughs into the camera while the children are distressed. Being abused as a child isn't an excuse for hurting your children. Look what he does to Cody. I can't imagine dealing with shit like this EVERY DAY.

I really fear Cody will die in an "accident" - his father or brother pushing him down the stairs or head first into a door or another hard object because abusing a helpless mentally disabled child is "funny".
