@GoodWinSon How do you plan on optimizing TrooNO to be able to run until the 1980s for the new content? I managed to play for 1949 to 1983 with CWIC over the course of a week, and I'm pretty sure it's less CPU heavy than TNO, does the new economy shit alow the game down majorly?

It's pretty fast as is, which is somewhat hilarious considering it used to be the cpu destroyer. My new content hasn't worsened it's performance, at least not noticeably. I have a conspiracy theory that the character system and NSB/BBA OOBs also slow down the game down, and I use neither. TNORA also uses a lot of .dds files for graphics (though I prefer .tga) which might help with load speeds. Other than that it's a matter of:

A. Use on_daily only when you absolutely need to (this is in part why superpower ranks only update every month)

B. Don't use triggers excessively

C. Don't make calculations more complicated than necessary and don't have 5 billion mechanics just because you can

D. Try to lower the amount of tags as the game goes on, which is partially why my Russia content is the way it is and partially why Heydrich gets to keep Burgundy, Ostland, and the Netherlands.

In theory it should run as fast after I do the work on the majors, at least that's my hope. I sometimes wonder why TfR runs slower than KX sometimes, considering it should have less workload in theory.

I’m not 100% sure, but I think the problem is China?

During my last TFR run the game was running insanely slowly during the late game. Tag switched over to China they had something insane, something like 1500 units. Deleted those and my game was back to running normally.

This may have been fixed in some recent releases, but mods really need division limiters by default I think.

Even during the Panzer era and even outside of TNO I hate how there is even a weird re-habilitation of Japan's image. For example in the game itself America can detente with Japan and while it has its issues and people can bitch it can be possible to do so and even get people to agree. You cannot do that with Nazi Germany. While strange I think it shows greater extent of the Japan simperly. It was some organizations like that yes. Japan was always strange about socialism itself. On the surface they seem to autistically hate it. They are fascists and monarchists after all. Though they had their flirtations of not socialism that many Marxists would like but in the essence of state control of industry to direct it and some of the social aspects like anti-imperalism. I swear to this day if the Japs did not have a monarchy they woulda taken to communism and been autistic with it just as much as the Chinese.

Its why I honestly don't think much would change and of all TNOTLism I support the Japanese Empire being their PRC. On the topic though its why I think that TNO shoulda played with the idea that socialist movements got co-opted and have changed.
