I always said Barb was nothing but a con-artist, but you convinced me of something worse. She's straight up conning her own son, and doesn't care, at all.
It's sad when you make Chris look good by comparison, Barb.

Altogether they make what, 3000? 3200? a month in combined income? I mean fuck's sake, that's a decent income for the average middle class family who lives within their means. These two fuckers get all this money for free, and you have people working hard at minimum-wage jobs where they don't even take home 1,000 and have to apply for food stamps and what not because it's min wage, not living wage. Chris and Barb also get Medicare (or Medicaid?) while causing and/or exacerbating their health issues through their stupidity/laziness, and you have people out there with legit medical issues that they had no control/fault over, struggling to get insurance or medical care.

Well, between Chris and Barb, they have enough money to pay the basic bills: Mortgage, utilities, property taxes and groceries, unfortunately for them, what is destroying(?) them is the credit card debt. The sad thing is that they have probably paid off the original debt by now, but years and years of minimum payments have caused the debt to balloon or simply stagnate at a maxed out limit. The credit card providers have probably made a ton of money off of C&B, they are the kind of suckers that credit card providers love, years and years of minimum payments and never a clean balance.

It makes it hard to pity someone who has enough to get by and can just save to afford luxuries like the rest of us, and that's just a normal person.

Chris and Barb, as you said, get it all for free, fritter it away, and then BEG for more under the guise of needing it for important things. And people wonder why it's infuriating when these people get handed large sums of cash online for junk.

Nah, if I've learned anything about this stuff it is that once you declare yourself anew as "Christine" (or "Chelsea Manning") all of your past sins no longer exist to social justice and you should be allowed to go and do whatever you want because you are a new person. Except for bad things that happened to you... that shit all still happened and anyone who did it should be punished.

That's a part of deadnaming. The concept kinda weirds me out because it sort of comes across as denying or trying to run away from your past.

"Chris is dead - I am Christine"? That kind of thing seems more detached from reality than I'd like.

Absolutely. While one of the article made a passing reference to e-begging, I think an opportunity was missed. e-beggars are the new welfare queens and Chris is the poster child for e-begging.

It's a phenomenon of which the mainstream is largely unaware beyond the gfm links for people with cancer which show up on their Facebook feeds and I think it would make a genuinely interesting article. KF is a prime place to research the trend.

Christopher became Christian to get rid of all the karma Christopher had, and now Christian becomes Christine for the same reasons. It's like Chris thinks changing his name is some sort of karmic version of Chapter 11 bankruptcy that he can do every decade or two in order to get away from all the shit he's done. Can only wonder what sort of buffoonery Chris will transmogrify into next to escape all of the garbage attached to "Christine".

I think that's why Chris chimped out so much on Twitter like he did last night. People kept reminding him and those he wanted to get tribby with that regardless of whatever name he currently calls himself, he's still going to be an utterly awful person who lies and rips people off, as well as a creeper around women.

Chris is finding out that unlike in video games, he can't just re-roll himself as a new character if he screws up his life.
