I'm not sure if this has been mentioned but ferrets ABSOLUTELY FUCKING STINK. I cannot stress this enough; these little fuckers smell rancid. They have specialised scent glands around the anus and other areas that secrete a musky oil so they can mark their territory. You can opt to have the anal glands surgically removed, however it costs money and it won't stop the marking behavior.... When I say 'mark', I mean shitting and pissing everywhere. Sometimes the surgery is not even that successful and their anal glands still ooze. The surgery is only for the anal glands so the other glands remain intact and they also fucking stink. In fact this is a huge reason why people give ferrets up in the first place. Fucking disgusting.

Furthermore, considering this is a rescue, I doubt 50% of them have undergone this surgery.

This disgust piece of shit lives, eats and sleeps near 50 of these things which is completely unhygienic and disgusting. I cannot stress this enough how unhygienic this is. I would be unsurprised if the next zoonotic disease outbreak comes from this filthy fuck.

As predicted the furries are starting their turn against him. Im expecting this to increase rapidly within the next few weeks. I really think this could cause a furry civil war, and not just within Mald's furry community

Furries as a whole are incredibly stupid/autistic and horny. They don't really have IRL interactions with normal people and they have a very poor grasp of right/wrong and normal behavior. there has been (proven) multiple instances of mauld pushing inappropriate boundaries without understanding that it is revolting and wrong.

I think they will eventually turn but it will take a while to overcome the mountain of autism and denial.

Furries won't wash their hands of Maldavius Fagtree because furries, as a community, have a tendency to be all-embracing. Look at how long it's taken to get someone like Kero the Wolf ousted from being a popufur, and even with all of the mountains of evidence that he's a zoosadist and a necrophile, he still has a following.
Furries are all-embracing because of the nature of the community - they're all some flavour of weirdo autistic who fail to integrate with the rest of society, either because they are gay, zoophiles, are into leather puppy play or something on a slope of depravity but they all have funny animals in common. They champion the weak and the rejected because they themselves are different, and they will readily excuse ethically and morally apprehensive shit because of this kinship of being downtrodden.
If you spend just a little time in a furry circle, that pattern quickly emerges. Not all furries etc. etc., but it sure is weird how large of an overlap there is between the absolute bottom of society and furries.

The only sins that Maldavius Fagtree has committed that I could reasonably see him earning backlash over within the furry community is the alleged animal abuse and animal deaths, and even then it's a very tiny sin when you look at the many, many, many zoophiles and rapists the community still actively guntguard for.
One furry rejecting him does not a movement make.
