Well, English vowels are often very underpronounced, even when it might cause confusion. The "a" and "o" before the final "l" of either will be, in many dialects and circumstances, just a schwa (ə)...in fact every vowel in English can turn into a schwa, and it's perhaps more common than not! And by the way, I listened to the clip and I would say I cannot begin to guess which she said by pronunciation. I also don't think it matters a ton to the rhetoric, either way it's clearly symbolic, and of a similar circumstance.
