Maybe sadist would be a better word than sociopath.

He doesn't seem to actually be getting pleasure from the misery of others like Jake does. Mike seems like he truly doesn't understand why everyone isn't laughing with him when he says "it's just a prank brah!"

He seems to enjoy fucking with those kids an awful lot, especially Cody. Only occasionally does it look like he is feeling bad, but that doesn't stop him from diving right back in. The rest of the time he is the one laughing and recording and recruiting Jake into things. He is absolutely a sadist. He may have needed Heather to flip that switch in him, but he most certainly is getting pleasure from the misery of his own children. Just because his mind is stunted doesn't mean he isn't evil.

Narcissists genuinely have a hard time understanding why anybody could possibly have feelings or motivations besides their own. And while I think Heather's narcissistic traits are far stronger than Mike's, I don't feel too much sympathy for Mike, either.

Motherfucker's stupid as hell but he's still needlessly cruel and that fucking giggle of his is like something out of a low-grade slasher flick.

I think it's a little of both. All pranks are pretty sadistic, but he seemed unable to comprehend that cody's many freakouts were more than just childish overreactions. He has had to be told by the internet how to show empathy for his child, and he's still not quite getting it. He's a fucking incurable moron.
The whole family say "it's just a prank, bro" without a single hint of irony, and they seemed to enjoy it all so much because they got xboxes and were too retarded to fathom that this shit would clearly be damaging to an already clearly messed up and sensitive child.

Holy shit, I ignore this thread for a couple days and you guys turn autistic again. Threadbanned some people for their crusades to call these peoples work and shit.

I remember everyone here told that this site is no vigilante group while everyone's involvement in Nick Bate back then says otherwise.

Or some of you guys are scared of having a second Vordrak situation?

Thanks fot clearing that up.

So that part where someone was sent close to where Nick's trial took place was nothing much else?

If I was a mod back when Nick Bates was still free, I would have thrown out warnings and deleted that kind of shit there, too. Everyone should have been embarrassed by our reddit tier moral outrage. I will say though, the second these kids turn 18 they're getting their own threads because there's no way they're not going to turn out hilariously damaged drama magnets.

I don't think this was mentioned, but Mike does have a Twitch account, though there is no content on it. Which would mean, I'd imagine, he took it down. The streaming hours are listed as Monday-Friday 10am-noon which I would assume is EST.
There was. In the family moments vid I think is where they spliced Mike asking Cody if he's ready for the Twitch stream. If anyone managed to get any of that, it would be interesting to see how they play COD together.

Has anyone considered maybe that Mike might be being abused as well? Heather is responsible for all the business decisions and finances. Spousal abuse can also include financial abuse. He comes across as a big kid, emotionally stunted and not very smart. Cody often outperforms his fathers intellect considering the honest and insightful things he says...

Obviously this wouldn't absolve Mike of his role in the abuse of the kids, just something to think about.

In the context of the abuse of the children, it doesn't really matter. Like you said, it doesn't absolve Mike of his role, so ultimately whether or not he's also getting abused doesn't change the fact that he obviously takes joy in tormenting and targeting his children.

Even if he was molested as a child like someone brought up a while back, or even if his mom threw him around and smashed his Radio Flyer or something, it's still not an excuse for his behavior. He could have broken the cycle of abuse but chose to continue it and exploit it for money.

That said, I've no doubt that Heather is manipulating him. He is definitely not smart (he writes like a second grader) and coupled with his mental instability would be a prime target for a crafty bitch to use.

This qualifies as autism, yes? https://twitter.com/nickmon1112/status/857334416129089538

It's possible, but as @PolexiaAphrodisia mentioned, it doesn't matter in the long run. He's still a manchild and is incapable of raising children without resorting to physical and emotional abuse and the "It's just a prank!" excuse.
