I didnt make the point in my jeetscreed but I'll make it here... a common misconception with westerners and lying desis is that the Indian is being evil.

In most cases, they're not.

This is just a function of not having a high personal honesty virtue.

The desi who is bullshitting you is more worried about what combination of words to say that will further his own outcomes AND make you pleased. Purely transactional. The only way to correct it is to make it clear he's being tested and that is gatekeeping the relationship.

Indians (and everyone else in that region) operates with this diplomatic thinking pattern. The problem with it is that its extremely inefficient.

Thats why high trust society means faster progress, and thats why West is Best. Somebody figured this out and told the Jews, and thats how we won because we adopted it.

I got that part with the commandment; I'm just trying to make sense of

The "Judeo-Christian" and "Way before Jesus" part makes it sound like that was a part of Jewish culture already, but "we adopted it" sounds like it's saying it was adopted later.

This might be a certified 🧩 moment; maybe the second statement is 100% a joke and not what you're saying actually happened. Either way thanks for the India information.

The culture is obsessed with rote memorization. Its basically the main marker of intelligence. They believe engineering is a career where you can make alot of money with just rote memorizing so they see it as playing to their strengths.

It feels like a significant chunk of the internet these days are just Indians/Muslims/Russians/Chinese/Israelis/Africans etc. pretending to be Americans or West Europeans to push whatever agenda they have in mind.

Oh I dont have a firm grip where the honesty virtue is seated.

Im happy if the truth is that it was a happy accident it appeared in Judiasm and carried over when Europe was converted by the Catholic Church and the Orthodoxy.

The only thing I believe here is that there's no possible way you can have the kind of society we inherited when it's overloaded with people who reserve most of their brainpower to diplomatic thinking.

Oh, and they recreated the hell that is the Chinese gaokao, just with an added flavor of Indian caste system.

I think their being frozen in time is partly due to them putting so much emphasis on prestige qualifications while not having a wide enough band of prestige qualifications. The few institutions of worth overflowing with applicants and having to reject the majority the others prime targets for scamming or the scammers themselves. Video above talks about how few Indian graduates are employed/employable and how hard they have to fight to get there.

This is why you have to be careful about making "merit" (as defined by test scores) the determining factor as to who gets good jobs as many naive voices on the right are demanding. At best, it leads to total stagnation; China literally hasn't invented anything since they started choosing their elite through the Imperial Civil Service Examination (the precursor to the Gaokao) and still to this day brag about the "Four Great Inventions" (Gunpowder, Paper, Printing, Compass) that predate the exam. India hasn't invented anything ever.

You don't want to live in a society run by dumb people who spent a thousand hours memorizing answer keys to get a 1% higher score than an actually smart person who only spent 10 minutes studying. Merit should be judged by real-world accomplishments, not credentials.
 
Calling it a petition does the word petition a disservice, a petition is meant to be a formal request to an authority in response to something that has actually happened.
This is a mass screech into the wind by retards in response to something that hasn't actually happened yet.

Therefore I suggest the term "Pootition" instead.

I thought this whole petition was fake until I saw the video section. It would be less embarrassing to upload a video of yourself fucking a domestic animal than it would be to upload a video of yourself supporting a fucking change dot org petition to try and get some Indian guy pardoned for killed an entire family by death-by-illegal-u-turn.
 
don't forget, 1 million jeets is less than 0.1% therefore the entire petition is generously within the 1% margin of error.
you think 1 million is a lot, india could lose 1 million jeets a day for 5 years and with their current birth rates - still have a higher population than the US (and probably europe too combined).
