Couple on bike get fatally crushed between two trucks - Salem, India (2024.01.28 )

A couple was killed in a horrific road accident after a truck crushed them to death in Tamil Nadu's Salem, police said on Sunday.

The victims were identified as 30-year-old Alagarasan, a construction worker, his 25-year-old wife, Ilamathi.

They were travelling with their five-year-old and two-year-old toddlers on a two-wheeler towards Pannavadi. The two toddlers survived the accident with minor injuries and were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

While crossing Raman Nagar, the traffic slowed down. Alagarasan, positioned behind a bus, came to a stop on his two-wheeler. Unfortunately, a truck transporting paddy from Karnataka hit their vehicle from behind, resulting in the deaths of Alagarasan and Ilamathi.

The bodies of the deceased were recovered by the Karumulai Kudal Police and transported to Mettur for autopsy.

Police are currently investigating the matter with CCTV footage of the incident. The truck driver is currently on the run.

The mela ground was filled with people at the time of the accident as a 'tambola' game was being held there.

The milk tanker had the Sikkim Milk Union's label on its side.

The force of the impact threw Marudhasalam onto the car before he became entangled in the lorry's wheels, resulting in his immediate death at the scene. His friend, whose identity has not been disclosed, was also injured in the accident.

19 year-old killed after being hit by an out of control truck which crashed into a roadside food canteen - Khopoli, India (2024.12.07)

A 19-year-old man died in an accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Saturday evening. The incident occurred around 5 PM near a food court in the Khopoli area of Raigad district, Maharashtra, when a goods-laden truck lost control and crashed into a roadside food canteen.

The truck, which was on its way from Pune to Mumbai, collided with several vehicles before fatally running over Indradev Paswan, an employee at the canteen. Disturbing CCTV footage captured the moment, showing the truck striking Paswan before crashing.

Man trying to save kitten that got run over on busy road gets hit by a truck himself - Thrissur, India (2025.04.08 )

A man in Kerala’s Thrissur district lost his life while attempting to rescue a kitten trapped in the middle of a busy road. The deceased, identified as 44-year-old Sijo Timothy, a resident of Ollukkara, was struck by a truck during the rescue attempt. The kitten, however, was saved.

The incident occurred at 9.41 pm on Tuesday near Mango Bakery at Mannuthi Kalathodu junction. According to eyewitnesses, a mother cat and her kitten were trying to cross the road when a vehicle hit the kitten. The injured kitten remained stranded in the middle of the road as the mother cat tried in vain to reach it, hindered by the flow of traffic.

Sijo, who was passing by on his motorbike, noticed the situation and got off to help. CCTV footage showed him being hit by a speeding lorry as he bent down to pick up the kitten. The impact of the truck caused him to fall in front of an oncoming car from the opposite direction and he was dragged along the road. He was rushed to a private hospital in Thrissur, but doctors were unable to save him.

Self-proclaimed crocodile shaman gets dragged underwater after looking for boy's body in crocodile infested waters - Kutai Kartanegara, Indonesia (2017.09.16)


KALIMANTAN - A self-proclaimed crocodile shaman who said he had the power to control crocodiles was killed in a suspected attack by one of the reptiles in Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan, last Saturday (Sept 16).

The shaman, Suprianto, had been looking for the body of a boy who had gone missing in Muara Jawa estuary the previous day.

Disturbing footage showed Suprianto swimming and chanting in the estuary's waters before he was dragged under.

Kutai Kartanegara police chief Fadillah Zulkarnaen told local media that two bodies were recovered on Sunday. Suprianto's body was found floating at 9.40pm and his body was intact.

"I think he was dragged by a croc under the water and then ran out of oxygen," he added.

"From the pictures I've seen, his body is still intact, his arms and legs are still there."

The body of the boy, Arjuna, was also intact.

The man jumped out of his car in Kataragama, near Yala National Park, in a bid to stop the elephant and hypnotise it

But his "trick" spectacularly failed when the huge animal turned and ran towards him, knocking him to the ground as he tried to get away.

The elephant then lifts one of its rights leg and tramples him, crushing him to death on the spot.

The daughter of the man can be heard screaming and crying as soon as the man was trampled over by the wild animal.

The forest department in Sri Lanka is aware of the man's death and said that they are sorry for the loss to his family.

Manoel was admitted to Hospital Nossa Senhora do Patrocínio, in Itaipé, and died during transfer to Hospital Santa Rosália, in Teófilo Otoni. According to a medical statement, the clinical status of the elderly man before his death was stable, but he had complications due to the bee stings.

The elderly man was attacked this Thursday afternoon (23). Images released on social media (see the article below) show the moment he falls to the ground and, wrapped in a plastic bag, tries to protect himself.

In addition to the elderly, four other people were admitted to the hospital in Itaipé, also victims of the bee swarm attack. They were treated and released.

A distraught Russian father has told of his horror at watching his son be mauled to death by a 'meat grinder' tiger shark at an Egyptian resort as he screamed out: 'Papa, save me!'

Yury Popov was forced to watch helplessly from the shore as the predator circled his son Vladimir, 23, before dragging him under water in the resort of Hurghada.

The tiger shark was then caught and dragged to land by boat before it was killed.

'We went to the beach to relax,' Mr Popov, originally from Russia, told the 112 media outlet. 'My son was attacked by a shark, it all happened in seconds.'

The heartbroken father said there were no family members near his son to help in the water, though initial reports said the 23-year-old's girlfriend had managed to flee the attack.

'What kind of help can you give? This meat grinder happened in 20 seconds, he was just dragged under the water,' Mr Popov said.

The father said: 'This is an absolutely ridiculous coincidence, because it is a safe beach. There are ships and yachts around. It's never happened there. They usually attack on wild beaches. It's just some kind of evil fate.'

Vladimir had been living with his father in Egypt for several months before the horrific attack. Mr Popov said he would cremate his son and return his ashes to their native Russia.

Video shows the tiger shark being caught and dragged ashore by a boat following the attack, and it appeared to be alive before being clubbed to death.

The Egyptian authorities confirmed the shark has been handed over for research to find out the causes of its behaviour and identify whether the animal is related to one that 'caused several previous accidents'.

The 23-year-old can be seen desperately trying to swim towards the shore to no avail. His body is seen spinning in the water, and his legs are raised above the surface.

'Swim away, swim away! Quick! A shark!' people can be heard shouting in the video.

Soon the splashing in the water stops, and the man's head returns to the surface. He appears to be moving around in the water again but slowly.

He can be heard screaming 'Papa', pleading for help, as the water turns red.

The shark's body is seen clearly at the surface at the moment, and its fin and tail are visible as it circles the victim.

The shark turns around again to attack and charges at the victim before clamping its jaws around him and pulling him under water.

The man's head appears above the water one last time, and the shark's body is seen writhing in the ocean as it appears to maul the body and drag it further into the depths of the water.

One witness said: 'The shark's eating his remains now. There she is, eating his remains.' Another said: 'Right in front of my eyes, the shark ate the guy, the girl [the girlfriend] managed to escape. He took the blow from the shark.

'It's a terrible thing, the remains of this man are lying there.'

A new video showed a distraught woman on the beach being comforted by two other woman moments after Vladimir was mauled to death.

It is believed the Russian woman had been pulled out of the water after being close to the man who was killed. It is not known if she was a relative of Popov.

So far Popov's father Yury is the only member of the family to speak.

After witnessing the attack, it evidently took a lengthy time to find the body and bring it onshore.

'Later, the remains were found, and the body was put in a bag and taken to the morgue,' he said.

'Children swam [in the area where the shark attacked] very often - there were children's slides,' another witness said.

'All this happened not far from a descent into the sea, next to the ladder, used by everyone who went into the water.

'At one point, the shark appeared, and immediately bit this man. Rescuers saw this and began to start the boat. He tried to swim away from the shark, but he couldn't.

'And the shark dragged the body for two hours. It constantly dragged him under the water.'

Witnesses said the victim's girlfriend had been in the water at the time of the attack. Russian reports say she is safe and has returned to Russia.

The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed the death of a citizen from a shark attack.

Vladimir had moved to the resort with his father at a time when many young males are moving abroad to avoid facing conscription - and likely death - as the brutal war in Ukraine continues.

The family had bought a property at the British Resort in Hurghada, say reports.

Other accounts said he had been staying at the four-star Elysees Dream Beach Hotel in Hurghada.

IT specialist Vladimir 'loved his father very much and was just beginning to live', said a friend.

He was said to be working remotely when he died, as are many young Russian men who are defying Putin.

Born in sub-Arctic city Archangel, or Arkhangelsk, he had moved to Moscow before decamping to Egypt amid the war with Ukraine.

His girlfriend, Anastasia, who is in her early twenties, has so far not spoken of the tragedy.

One female friend said: 'Vova [Vladimir] was a good guy.

'He was only a month away from his birthday.

'Friends say that he moved there [to Egypt] with his father.

'As far as I know, he really liked living in Moscow, his whole life was there.

'Vova was a wonderful person and loved his father very much.'

Oleg, who knew the deceased man, said: 'He was into music. He recorded songs.'

There was speculation that a woman seen on the beach being conformed by two other women was his mother.

But 360TV reported that she was at home in Balashikha, Moscow region.

A source said: 'His mother cried all day. She screamed that she had lost her son.'

The commotion was so great that a neighbour said 'we were even afraid that someone was being killed there'. Locals wanted to call the police.

The 23-year-old is not the first victim to be killed by a shark at the resort.

All of the Indian videos and their general lack of serious reaction to people dying really makes me think it is some Hindu and Karma thing. Why bother trying to help, if you die it's clearly because you have bad karma or something. Why get too upset, if you had better karma you'd clearly have survived. Not helping is just them enforcing dharma, it would be bad if we helped someone escape karmic justice. Drowned my child in a river, must be karma, it's okay, they'll do better next time around. A truly loathsome people with a religion and culture that just reinforces being selfish and treating other people like absolute garbage.

A recent video has gone viral which shows a Harrier EV running over a person. The incident took place in Avinashi, Tamil Nadu where the victim suffered a severe head injury. The horrific scenes were caught on camera where the Harrier EV is seen rolling down an incline with the driver side door open even before the driver could step inside the cabin. The CCTV time and date stamp is 14th August 2025, evening around 5:53 PM.

According to the video, the man tried to stop the vehicle by stepping inside the car and applying brakes. However, the momentum of the heavy SUV dragged the person out, hitting the ground and causing a severe head injury. The vehicle ran over his legs while going reverse. The car was about to run over once again while moving forward but he was pulled out of the way by some very alert bystanders.

The person was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him brain dead. The family is yet to file an official complaint against Tata Motors as they are still in shock. The company officials have taken the vehicle. The exact cause of the unfortunate accident is still unclear, and it remains unconfirmed whether it resulted from a technical fault, human error, or external factors.

The Reddit post claims that the deceased had already faced a software issue with the new car when it stopped on the road and didn't switch on. This morning 18 august 2025, Raphaël Graven, better known as Jean Pormanove, is believed to have suffered a heart attack in his sleep while he was with other streamers from the team "Le Lokal" during a stream where they couldn't end it without finishing a game called "Chained Together." It lasted almost 300 hours before the incident so almost 13 days.

Approximately 5 hours after the end of the stream, he was officially pronounced dead by medias.

He could be seen showing typical signs of a heart attack, struggling to breathe, making grunting or gasping sounds, and looking clearly in pain for a short amount of time.

His friends woke up because of the noise but didn't understand the situation, probably thinking he was just snoring, leaving him there for almost an hour before realizing something was wrong.

In this video almost 50 minutes after his attack, you can see and hear one of the streamers from the team, "Narutovie" trying to wake him up and calling his name.

“While opening the cash truck, the security guards were ostensibly ambushed by four unknown armed suspects, who were driving a silver grey Hyundai. According to the reports, an undisclosed amount of cash was taken,” said Mhlakuvana.

He added that a 44-year-old security guard was declared dead on the scene, while the other sustained injuries and was taken for medical treatment.

When News24 visited the scene, a large section of Buffalo Street was cordoned off while investigators combed the scene for clues.

An eyewitness, who works at a nearby retail shop, told News24 she heard four gunshots.

“One of them was wearing a blue overall, like the construction workers. It was so horrific witnessing them ambushing those security guards. One of them with a big gun was literally standing not far from our shop, but as soon as they were able to overpower the guards, he went to join them,” said the eyewitness.

A student has died after a classroom fight escalated into a stabbing at a Phoenix high school late Tuesday morning.

"We are heartbroken by this senseless tragedy today at Maryvale High School," said PXU Superintendent Thea Andrade.

Police said the fight involved two boys inside one of the classrooms at the high school on 59th Avenue south of Indian School Road shortly before 11 a.m. Classmates said it involved freshmen and scissors were used.

Both were taken to the hospital, where one of them died. The other was not seriously hurt.

Police said after the fight, the staff told a school resource officer, who detained the suspect.

"This is a sad day for the great Maryvale community," said Phoenix Police Chief Matt Giordano. "It's a difficult time for those affected by this incident."

The school was placed on lockdown for hours before sending students home early. Parents told Arizona's Family they were left in the dark.

Students said they didn't know much about what was going on as the lockdown took place. "We found out in an announcement that there was a lockdown and it wasn't a drill," said Nathn Florez, a 15-year-old student. "When I found out, I was pretty shocked. I was at a loss for words."

No names have been released.

Officials said Maryvale High School students will have virtual learning on Wednesday so "extensive emotional support" can be provided for students and staff. The school will update families on what the rest of the week looks like on Wednesday.

Man has 'psychotic episode' after fight with his girlfriend and falls to his death while trying to climb down building - Curitiba, Brazil (2025.08.20)

The scene of a young man hanging from a building on Wednesday afternoon (20th) shocked those who witnessed it. The situation occurred on Desembargador Motta Street in downtown Curitiba. The young man, who according to the Military Police (PM) was having a psychotic episode, died after falling from the building following a fight with his girlfriend.

The incident happened between Coronel Menna Barreto Monclaro and Comendador Araújo streets and was witnessed by many people on the street. Many people even filmed the young man hanging from the window.

According to Corporal Hostins of the PM, the police were called after reports that a man was having a psychotic episode inside an apartment and was armed with a knife.

"We were called due to a person having a psychotic episode, who was armed with a knife. Arriving here, the situation was confirmed, but we couldn't make contact with him because the apartment was locked," explained Corporal Hostins of the PM.

Outside, the girlfriend reported a history of conflicts and threats. She told the police that the young man already had a history of fights and disagreements.

"She also alleged that he had threatened her several times, and today was another instance where they ended up fighting. He threatened her, and after the fight, he ended up hanging from the balcony, completely distraught. He was speaking incoherently as far as we could hear, and from the eighth-floor window, he started climbing down the building," the corporal reported.

In a state of complete agitation, the young man began to descend the facade from the outside of the building. That was when he fell and ended up dying.

"He was climbing down the outside, and when he reached the fourth-floor window, he tried to enter another apartment through the window. We tried to make contact with him several times, but he didn't respond. At a certain moment, I believe he started losing his strength and ended up slipping from the window, falling from a considerable height and passing away," the police officer narrated.

A specialized negotiation team was even called to try to prevent the worst, but there was no time.

"The specialized team was called to see if they could try to negotiate, given that he was in possession of a knife. However, unfortunately, there was no time to carry out this negotiation, or even to attempt it. He ended up falling," the corporal concluded.

The young man's body was collected by the Forensic Medical Institute (IML) after the forensic examination. A team from the Homicide and Personal Protection Division (DHPP) was at the scene and also gathered information for the investigation, which will be carried out to determine the details of the fall.

A video sent to the TNH1 report shows the moment when the woman was walking down a street and was surprised by the criminal. The aggressor appears in the images applying a blow known as 'leon killer' and knocking the woman to the ground.

The suspect still steals the victim's phone and hits her several times with a knife. Then, he flees the place. The images are strong and the report chose not to disclose them.

According to the Military Police, the alleged perpetrator of the crime has no criminal record. He was arrested soon after the crime.

The homicide must be being investigated by the Civil Police of Alagoas.

According to a senior police officer, the deceased, Lucky Gaikwad from Maharashtra, Santosh and one more were removing a temporary shed used for a marriage that happened a week ago.

The video shows Gaikwad and Santosh adjusting a metal structure and then collapsing to the ground all of a sudden. While Gaikwad died, Santosh and the other person received severe injuries. Their condition is said to be stable.

Authorities have urged citizens to take necessary safety measures, especially during events involving temporary electrical connections, to prevent injuries or loss of life.

This is the ninth reported case of death due to electrocution in Hyderabad this week. An electrician received a fatal shock while making preparations for Independence Day at Lemon Ridge Hotel in Jeedimetla August 15. Two days later, five people died during a Janmashtami procession in Uppal and on August 18, two people passed away while transporting a Ganesh idol on Bandlaguda road.


Off-duty officer lies on the floor during robbery at commercial establishment, then reacts by shooting the robber with several shots, killing him - São Luís, Brazil (2025.08.23)

A man, identified as Raimundo Juvenal de Sousa, 29 years old, died after being shot during an attempted robbery on Saturday afternoon (23), around 2:20 pm, on Avenida Edson Brandão, in the Anil neighborhood, in São Luís.

According to initial information, two individuals on a motorcycle arrived at the scene and announced a robbery against a commercial establishment.

During the criminal action, a police officer who was nearby reacted and fired shots at the suspects.

Raimundo Juvenal was shot twice in the neck and arm, and fell at the scene. Witnesses reported that he was dead before emergency services arrived. The other suspect managed to escape and has not yet been identified.

At the scene, police found a Taurus .38 caliber revolver, with a capacity for five shots, which was allegedly used in the criminal act.

Military Police and Civil Police teams were called and isolated the area for forensic procedures.

My dad was a truck driver for a while when he was young and he knew a guy who lost all his hearing on one side because a truck tire exploded and BTFO his eardrum on the side that was facing the truck.

Tires are really dangerous but people don't usually realize it. And the bigger they are the more pressure they are under which only makes it worse, you can tell on the videos from how the tractor tires are all stronger. There is also the fact that the rubber tends to shred and be sent flying in deadly whips (as you can see on the 2nd video where it looks like a ring hits her) all over.
