Do you need training in auto mechanics to diagnose an engine problem?

Diagnosing a medical condition is all about matching symptoms with medical conditions. You just need to know the combination of medical symptoms to look for. Some conditons need special machines, others just need to be observed.

Most mental health disorders is discovered/diagnosed entirely based on a series of questions designed to identify symptoms.

The videos are empirical evidence of symptoms. The symptoms are repeated extensively by the subject. The DSM can tell you based on the combination of symptoms if there exist a disorder that fits.

The real purpose of psychiatry degree and gaining knowledge of the subjects background is to treat the conditions.

Actually you kind of do, modern cars are very complex, there's many different systems working together and lot of problems can appear to be something completely different to someone with no training or experience working on cars.

And diagnosing mental conditions is much more difficult than fixing cars.

I think it was mentioned once, but it was during that Keemstar interview. Frankly, I can't watch more then a couple of minutes of the Gnome King without getting a migraine.

But yeah, I could definitely see Heather trying to take advantage of the sister-in-law's job. It's one of those things she REALLY shouldn't have admitted to thousands/millions, but she doesn't strike me as the type to use her brain all that much. Manipulative? Absolutely. (Then again, given how dumb Mike also seems to be, I don't think it would have been THAT difficult for her to manipulate him into doing what she wants) But smart? I seriously doubt it.

Become convinced something is Wrong With You, Google it until you find something suitably tragic sounding that fits, and insist that any doctors who don't diagnose you with it are just bigoted, ableist scum and that anyone who questions you is classist. Then, form a community of people around your identity as persecuted and ill... I mean, there's a reason everyone is self-diagnosing with stuff like "maladaptive daydreaming" and not stuff like Intermittent Explosive Disorder. Gotta sound pitiable.

People say it's claims but the ex-wife vouches for her too and I just believe her and not Michael. So I think they'd be better offwith her. You come across as not only trying to tell people that they won't realistically go to jail, but judging them for even wanting them to or trying toget them in jail or even complaining about what they're doing. Not sure if you're seriously irritated with people for having an issue with the abuse or wanting them to go to jail, but that's how you come across.

Hey guys, I think Cody's mother said that his doctor diagnosed him with ODD. I could be mistaken but that's what I recall. She wasn't diagnosing him herself. At the same time, many children on the autism spectrum are misdiagnosed with ODD and she claims he was diagnosed with Asperger's (now you can't get diagnosed with that. that was years ago. now it's just autism spectrum disorder) and bipolar, which both biological parents have. You can see him submit to his father rather than being defiant like any kid would in several anger-inducing situations which might mean ODD was a misdiagnosis.

Or, here's a crazy idea, maybe he thinks that people complaining about very serious child abuse business on a forum designed for mocking exceptional people maybe don't have a realistic view of what their complaints might accomplish.
