I think you misunderstand Chris' current financial habits. When you see Chris pissing money away on toys, it's after he's paid his monthly bills. He's responsible enough to do that.

When you see Chris begging for money, it's because he's a greedy manchild who wants more toys. Not because he spent already earmarked money on toys.

It is one of those cases where "Chris is not that dumb". He isn't dumb enough to end up homeless and keep buying toys. I could seeing him needing some help with the practicalities of finding a place to live, moving, registering his new address with appropriate authorities, and setting up bills in his names. But if some well meaning person gets him gets him set up, or even points him in the right direction, he can chug along on the tugboat indeterminately.

There will be a lot of bitching about how rent is stressing him out. But he will be fine.

I feel they're normal in the sense they're not CWC. Through my time in college gaming clubs, I've met plenty of ugly social defects who nonetheless manage a fairly intimate network of relations. Those are the kinds of people his social circle reminds me of. Chris's friends in all likeliness are pretty spergy but I doubt they're full-on lolcows.

IRL, Chris is friendly enough. Like, the biggest problem a normal person would have talking to Chris is that you don't have much to talk about with him. He doesn't understand politics above the local level, and he certainly can't discuss them in any real depth. Like, I know someone (an evil mayul) who was talking to Chris IRL. Chris was pretty friendly to him, but they didn't really have any mutual interests to talk about. The most Chris could offer to the conversation was a Family Guy reference.

Edit: Actually, there were a few different instances of Chris talking to male friends. I think he's used that family guy joke with multiple people.

However, if you are interested in toys and video games and shit, Chris is a decent conversationalist. He's got friends with which he'll just sperg about genderspecials and video games with for hours. None of them are particularly gross or weird looking, except for Chris. And even then, he's not wearing any bright colors or anything that really sticks out.

Honestly, the most striking thing about Chris IRL, to me, is his weird body shape, where he's this huge blob of lard on little stick legs. He's like Danny Davito with the legs stretched out.

He probably blends in a short casual conversation about those matters and that's about it.

Interviews are harder to pull off than normal conversation because you're having to provide all the material yourself.

When there's some back and forth, you find it easier to think of things to discuss.

I have a question about the Jenkin Jinkies persona Chris adopted, especially his story about gay sex at summer camp. Do you think there's a chance it's true? The reason I ask is because it seems rather in depth for something Chris to lie about, and it'd explain his hated/fear of homosexuality. Plus, it includes him shitting himself

If it wasn't Chris you were talking to, I don't think you'd notice anything distinctive about his video game sperging.

Like, I think you're approaching the idea of Chris conversing normally from a very unnatural angle.

Chris is dumb as dirt, but so are most people you talk to on a daily basis. You never notice it because you don't pay special attention to what they're saying.

Edit: Heh, like, the difference between incredibly deep video game discussion and shallow video game discussion is very small. Chris gets lost in that small gap.

It's pretty typical of Chris' lies to be that spergy. Nothing about that story sticks out, as far as it being suspicious goes.

Megan was a little weird, but I don't think she was actually autistic or otherwise intellectually disabled. She went on and had a normal life after leaving Chris, which is why I don't support anyone bothering her or trying to drag her back into it these days.

I'm pretty sure Heather is mentally handicapped, and doesn't work, so she is pretty much female Chris. I'd say it goes past socially unaware with people like this. Anyone with the capability to learn from past mistakes would work out how to at least mimic normal social behaviour. It's when social unawareness combines with a mental handicap like autism that you get lolcows who seem absolutely incapable of changing for the better.
