That sounds relatively basic compared to what I was thinking of. I was more thinking that the blade just pointed in the direction of the controller rather than having pre-set attack animations, so strikes and parries would just come from objects clashing together in game. Moves wouldn't be pre-set, but entirely created by the player.

I'm absolutely positive there was a tech demo of something just like this, but I can't remember where I saw it. I don't think it made it into a real game though.

I'm not personally a supporter of anarchism but core ideological disagreements aside there are far smarter ones out there than Hbomb. Kind of old news now, but a few months back, he accused Jontron of being addicted to cocaine and claimed several of his "friends" messaged him after the video on him.

If this ends up being completely false, couldn't it technically be classified as slander? Could possibly be true, but this comes off more like Hbomber baselessly lying about someone he dislikes to smear him, at least to me. Apparently he also claimed on a livestream the Jontron lost a bunch of partnerships due to drug abuse, and the whole story just sounds like petty bullshit he made up.

It's been three months and no one heard a single thing about this, no one's talked about cocaine, Jontron hasn't announced being dropped by Disney or other companies, no one has virtue signalled "Gosh we don't stand by the hateful racist Jontron and want to promote diversity!" other than YookaLaylee jackasses.

The fucker just made up some garbage so he could capitalize on the whole dumbass "controversy".

The only person that we know for sure isn't associated with JonTron anymore from is past is Austin Hargrave, otherwise known as Peanut Butter Gamer from Normal Boots. And even then, we don't know why. According to PBG, it wasn't due to Jon's politics and I believe him, given his brother McJones, who's on his gameplay channel frequently, is very much conservative.

Jon has been tagged by the likes of The Completionist and H3H3, he's still friends with Arin "Egoraptor" Hanson since they worked on Starcade together and Arin signal-booseted the fuck out his music video, and people like Sky Williams and his friends are always quick on the draw when it comes to people slandering him on twitter.

I genuinely don't have a clue as to who could possibly have a problem with Jon at this point that hasn't gone public about it, and even in the worst case scenario, why the actual FUCK would anyone go to HBomberguy about it? Like, he's one of the most insignificant gaming specks on YouTube, how could anyone want to approach him of any other channel in the first place?

It makes no sense and nothing came out of his accusations months after he made them.

The dude is talking crap, plain and simple.

Hbomberguy's just a dumbass that's lashing out because all the popular Youtubers are friends and follow each other on Twitter, meanwhile he's a complete nobody that's only popular amongst goons and the crazy, vindictive SJW types that are even bigger nobodies. Same deal when he made his Dark Souls 2 video attacking Matthewmatosis, when people called out Hbomberguy's video as just an obvious personal attack on him and most of his points were just disagreeing with Matthewmatosis for the sake of it, he quickly tried to weasel out of it pretending that they were friends and he was just playing an exaggerated character.

He's just attacking Jontron because he's another more popular Youtuber who's still close with other Youtubers, and all the people in Hbomberguy's little clique are attacking Jon too.

There actually were some rumors, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages ago, that Jon had/has some substance abuse issues. I think there was a specific episode of Sonic 06 where he was talking about drinking and having to reschedule recordings because he showed up plastered that got the ball rolling. I don't think there's been anything credible about it since, though. Not from Jon or someone who knows him, that is.

Well to be fair as aforementioned, some NormalBoots members tried to distance away from Jon with ProJared being the worst one, with the rest just moved on, made a statement and then don't care. Apart from that, yeah there's not much.
