One of the authors Hayley Margules (self proclaimed SJW bard) chimps about being left off the credits section of drive-thru rpg (they have a limited number of slots on the page) citing her support of David Hill as the reason why.
Rather then doing the sensible thing she tries to personal army it.

SJW's certainly do eat their own.

I wonder if this will go anywhere with their products if they can start getting rid of some authors.

I would hope so but opp now has a rep thanks to several ex writers (see David Hill) so it's going to be hard to attract more center of the road writers.

They've tried though. Several times in the past year or so, mouthbreathers lamented about how there are no female space marines. Or how it's a massive tragedy none of the space marines are gay. Of course, this is all stupid and no one actually cares about what they have to say.

The real reason 40k is largely immune to social justice is because Games Workshop does not give a shit at all what anyone says or thinks about their product. If they don't even care about the desires and requests from long-time customers why the hell would they listen to nobodies who don't actually play the game and just want to get asspats for pointing out how problematic something is?

Oh, they've tried but just can't get a foothold. Like you said they're gay and no one gives a shit. GW ignoring them helps but these social justice types have never needed the creators' blessing to infest a community, especially since homebrewing is an essential aspect of the hobby.

Injecting social justice into 40k is always going to doomed because the universe is the complete opposite by design.

Or at least jailhouse gay space marines, battling rock-hard dicks like turgid meat swords in the manliest fucking way possible.

It's people like David Hill that make me glad I have all my old World of Darkness stuff. Back when actual geeks/ nerds worked on the games and understood the lore of not only their games but the lore of other games/ products.

Doesn't seem like he understands Malkavian or insanity in general. Maybe he should try working with them, he'll know better. There's a reason why they're medicated.
