everytime attention deficit Anna tries the next big thing we all learn something new.

I think we should hate on the coach more than Anna. She’s working hard and progressing but he’s not doing his fucking job and it’s going to end in injury. Has the angry bald guy weighed in on this? He gets pissed when trainers put fat people at risk of injury for stupid reasons

Edit to add: yes he has ai told me, he has been angry about the coach and sees it as fake and for viral views so he knows what’s going on

What am I missing? What was impossible or overwhelming for Anna? Walking 2 miles round trip for the wrong bagel? Is she still under some agreement with her plastic surgeons to promote lipo-sculpting as a life-changing procedure? She posts this insight periodically, but I'm like, girl, anyone can scroll through your feed and see you're still doing the same ol'.

The importance of this cannot be understated. What you said reminds me of how the once-common idea of pedophiles having been sexually molested as children is now thought to be bunk, and instead you now have to be very careful about taking them at their word, because, shockingly, child molesters will seize upon any excuse to avoid accountability for diddling children. And what brings about more sympathy than having been raped as a child? When people engage in shameful behavior, they will often (usually?) avoid the responsibility of acknowledging their own role in harming themselves, often to the point that it will literally will be ruining their lives, yet it's still somehow psychologically easier to say "someone else did something horrible to me, therefore I do horrible things in return, but you must feel sorry for me, for I have no choice but to be a dick" than to make even small steps towards changing their behavior.

Psychologists, therapists, and psychiatrists have quietly walked back the idea of taking what personality-disordered individuals disclose about their past experiences at face value. For example, you'll see this a lot in the discourse surrounding borderline personality disorder. What used to be phrased as something along the lines of "borderline individuals experienced traumatic childhoods" is now more likely to be phrased as "the trauma (real or perceived) that the individual experienced during childhood."

It's a subtle but extremely important difference. For anyone who has not had the personal joy of dealing with borderline, it's essentially a disease of perceptions. Your personality filters every interaction as automatically being betrayal or abandonment, and your nervous system reacts accordingly, being in almost permanent fight-or-flight mode. It's not a situational mood disorder, like depression. It's hard-wired into your personality, hence why it's such a pain in the ass to treat and doesn't respond to medication.

One of the most frustrating aspects of borderline is the individual's refusal to take accountability for their own behavior, and instead they rely on blaming others for provoking them, and since they were provoked, their behavior isn't their fault. But now we're learning so much more about these disorders, and in trying to diagnose and fix these maladaptive coping mechanisms and schemas (aka the framework and perceptions you use to process your world), we're now seeing that there's a much larger genetic component than previously thought.

This is fascinating because while we know perfectly well what CAUSES, say, personality disorders (the genetic component + being the right - er, wrong environment, you know what I mean, and it does seem you need both of these), we still don't know why some people don't get them, and this genetic component may be why. We know perfectly well why abused children grow up to be abusers, but we don't know why some in the exact same situations don't become like that, and instead grow up to be kind, loving individuals who break the trauma cycle, without the tools of extensive, painful, life-long therapy. Figuring out how they do this is gonna give psychologists a key breakthrough in treating personality disorders and fixing shitty behavior.

Unfortunately, here's where the genetic component brings us back down to earth. There does seem to be a genetic component to taking accountability for one's behavior, as well as a shame threshold, regardless of how shitty your situation in life is.*** This is a hard pill to swallow because the headline BREAKING NEWS: SOME ASSHOLES ARE BORN FOREVER ROTTEN means that some people are beyond help, and it's against their genetic makeup to take any responsibility to heal themselves. Psychologists and therapists are compassionate people, and acknowledging that some people are beyond help is depressing af.

But the flipside of this somewhat nihilistic and depressing bit of news is that you can look at it the opposite way, and it's hope: Some humans are truly good people, and nothing/no one else can stop or corrupt their goodness and morality.

Anyways. Where was I. Oh yeah. Anna was born rotten, everyone.

They have as much sugar as protein and more fat than protein. These exist to make lazy parents feel better about buying uncrustables for their kids. These are not going to make you any gains. If she wants processed protein she’s going to be way better off with a bar or a shake.

Plus the ingredients look pretty bad for someone trying to avoid processed or inflammatory foods

Anna's motivation for this lifting Arc is completely transparent - she thinks it justifies her being the size of an adolescent elephant, and it gives her an excuse to scarf down any packaged shit with protein on the label. Of course she was never going into a cut/deficit and start eating unflavoured whey shakes and homecooked lean protein. It's just another way of her mental illness rationalising that it's okay to wake up in the middle of the night to carb load. Completely fucked up.
 
The change in nutrition facts from the original to this new formulation implies they just added more peanut butter. She's gonna love it and every kid whose lazy trashy parents buy this will get fatter.

She periodically will have posts saying "I was just pretending that I was loving my life back in these posts, but in reality I was sad and in pain. But now I am [running/losing weight with GLPT-1 inhibitor/post liposuction] I am ACTUALLY loving my life!".

So it's fair to assume that at any point she's lying about how she feels vs. how she is presenting her life.
 
This is a little late but I don't think it's been brought up yet: what is with this Showcase Showdown-style game show host way of speaking she's adopted in her Viking Princess videos? It's bizarre AF, like she's trying to give a "just another day in my wacky active life!" kind of vibe.

135lb bench would be extremely impressive for most women under 200lbs. For a 550lb behemoth it's like a 130lb gorl doing the bar (45lbs). I doubt her trainer will ever impress this fact upon her. He's just like all the rest of the shady fucks using her for clout and money. Oh well, it's what she deserves, she does the same.
