Why does Nick consistently misunderstand standards of evidence? He doesn't know how probable cause works, he doesn't seem to know how preponderance of the evidence works (given that White was trying to introduce reasonable doubt by suggesting it could have been April), this man was once a Lawyer I don't understand how he's so bad at this.

All Nick has to do is take the stand and say he didn't have access to Aaron's account and give an alternative explanation for how he got the search history. Then get Melton up there to testify that Nick never passed him off anything from Aaron's google account. But I have a suspicion that neither of them are going to be testifying in either of their hearings.

The April solo episode is from 1 April 2024, 2 weeks I believe before Nick's new timeline of the Qover ending. Does anyone remember the date that Aaron's search history was from? I know someone figured it out from which KF thread pages he had viewed.

EDIT: He's on page 5624 which starts on July 9 2024, after April's been out of Aaron's house for months. It is not plausible that she snagged the search history unless she snagged it from Nick's computer.

In looking for that image, I came across these summaries of Melton saying that Nick gave him things from Aaron's account, he got access to Aaron's account because it was logged in on his computer still, and emphasizing that Aaron should be scared. I forgot just how direct he was about this, and how he was openly saying it was going to be used for intimidation. He just blabbered it all out there, just confessed to the whole scheme.

I am disgusted to say that, given the volume of WTF decisions I’ve seen made by judges over the years, I almost can’t fault him for that. It’s worth a shot. But not with this judge, who seems distinctly unimpressed with Barneswalker and his clients.
 
One other thing to remember about this judge -- he's on one of Nick's traffic ticket cases and had to draw up a payment plan for him.

That may have something to do with how done with him he is.
 
Not an update from girl friday - just a bit of pontificating. I think if the toelogs on /r/steeltoebeggingshow are starting to think Aaron is going to win, things are looking pretty bad for Nick and Melton.

I think the radio silence from her source (they should be back in court by now) is indicative of either Nick getting scared into not breaking the sequestration any further, or Nick getting so anally gaped by Aaron he doesn't want to talk about it even to try and put a spin on things.

He really doesn't, though, not at this point. He used to have a grasp of the basics. Now, he is supremely confident, like the Franks hearing, which even normie nonlawyers could see was a nonstarter, to the point of making a total fool of himself insisting all the practicing lawyers saying it was crap were literally lying.
