This should recontextualize aspects of the VRChat Youtube Dilemma video [A], for those who didn't already dislike him for that video. Especially the point where he literally points out one of the sourced creators, RoyaltyIsHere, says he loves the game, and then later at the end of the video claims all negative videos are by people who don't actually care. For anyone who doesn't already know, anyone who makes content on the game, even the trolls, have almost definitely had it launched in steam for more than 2k hours.

I believe this is also the video where he claims that youtubers VRC pred catching youtubers like Sileskios only make the game worse and attract negative attention. Lol. I know that some of you don't like Sileskios because he previously didn't get that many arrests.

This isn't even the only thing he's said that's objectively false, either. In VRChat Content Creators Make Me Want to Rip my Head Off [A], he claims to be a general VRTuber which is not the case, unless there are deleted videos I'm not aware of. He compares himself to two different YouTubers who talk about VR technology very generally, Thrillseeker, and BonelessVR. Taking ONE LOOK let's me know that 12 out of 14 of these videos will be primarily about VRChat, even if it's not in the title. Don't expect too much hard thinking from this guy.

Here's the thing: It's three times more aggravating with Roblox:

1) A game geared to children. No excuses;
2) IF, and IF it were "all ages": it contains entertainment. It's almost a sandbox-like game where you can "build your own game mode" (correct me if I am wrong), or at the very least you can ask developers to do something like that. Why would I play "Rivals" if I can play Counter-Strike: Source/Counter-Strike: Global Offensive or even Counter-Strike 2???? Answer: It's geared for children;
3) There is people to meet and you can imagine yourself doing plenty of things, like point 2 said.

With VRChat, it's a game used for conversations and something like you expanding virtual "barriers", and perhaps immerse yourself - or an avatar that you pick (example, suppose I want to be an astronaut, like my username says - I pick an astronaut avatar) and find a world to explore the outer space with friends. I am not interested in eroticism, it would put me off. Then maybe something like outer worlds jungle/forest/desert exploration, who knows? It's much more limited to what a map or game mode can do.

Regardless, there's no excuse to act like a degenerate.

Conversely with VRChat, there are predators embedded within critical infrastructure and the capability and will to cause even more damage than most predators would be able to do under most circumstances. A pedophile that is willing to engage in Liz-Fong Jones tier abuses of power, if not worse than Mr. Consent Accident himself. Someone who's using to use their knowledge to torment their ex-lover through criminal behavior. (In the US it would fall under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act).

So it was brought to my attention that there is a Japanese movie and manga with the premise of two elderly men falling in love with each other in a VR game while having avatars dressed like a school girl and a fox-hentai.

I know it's not specified as VRChat (probably due to the fear of copyright in Japan) but I decided to take the time to look it up and it defiantly seems to be alluding to VRChat as the setting of the story regardless of correct English translation or not in my opinion. With some things that happen in a few illustrated panels I've seen it also could be a fusion of VChat and Resonite because I'm pretty sure they story came out before the VRChat's addition of persistence.

The themes in what I seen skimming through it look to be the typical creep-shit you'd think would be in such a story even down to the "I wish I was a girl in high school so I now cosplay a loli avatar". Even worse after that the next scene is implied that the two of them (a fox hentai and a anime school girl) have VRChat-style ERP. That's what ultimately made me stop reading any further. However I am curious into viewing the movie, considering it's a live action and directed by Asians so it has the possibility of either being a drag or the funniest shit to sit through so I'll probably make it a drinking watch party.

Re-sharing my thoughts here from the Glass thread discussion:

Just went through the video.

At the start, she distances herself from Glass, and says that working with Glass doesn't mean agreeing or being friendly with Glass. I can understand that to some degree, but there is a bit of cope there. Let's say someone is a convicted child rapist. They are just released from prison, hate UrghBla, and are planning to release a video attacking UrghBla. Would you really want to be want to work with someone like that, even if they may have information? I would imagine that most people would not. I don't understand the Glass angle here, when Glass is such a lazy retarded fuck. Why even go to Glass, when he is so fucking incompetent, that the value of such an engagement is almost entirely negative? The actual meat of the video has like fuck all to do with Glass, so trying to justify any type of involvement with Glass really weakens what should be a strong and compelling video. The whole situation of "Doom" working with Glass reeks of gayops, and Mwwch/grrr's seemingly unnecessary involvement with Glass makes me think there is more happening behind-the-scenes.

I want to stress how stupid is seems to get involved with Glass, because she actually makes valid arguments against UrghBla. Her main contention seems to be that UrghBla is such a lazy fuck about these predator catches, it weakens the potentially high value of investigation into these predators. She highlights that there is a good amount of evidence captured from the interactions between the decoys and the predators, but UrghBla's video on these predators end up mainly covering the catch itself. So, not only are none of these predator losers getting reported to their local authorities, but the lack of evidence covered in the videos offer some level of plausible deniability if the video gets discovered by friends/family of the accused predators. The frustrations reach a boiling point when UrghBla seems to be stepping away from getting involved in predator catches to focus on shitflinging with Glass on stream.

I can totally see where she's coming from busting her ass for free to talk to fucking losers online, investigate and capture evidence of these interactions, find personal information about these predators, and then you have UrghBla pushing back on his involvement while fucking around with Glass on livestreams. I would be like "fuck me, I'm just wasting my time here" and then quit too. So I think this is a good way to expose that UrghBla, and likely many of these more lazy "predator catcher" type channels are simply focused on getting the own on a loser (and getting views from it) while not doing anything to actually impact the predator in real life, like exposing their personal information, reporting them to local police, etc.

EDIT: UrghBla posted in his Announcements channel in his Discord a response to the video, implying that Mwwch / grrr? wanted to be intimate with him and his rejection is what has made her salty?

What this looks like is her expecting UrghBla to be more involved in the Predator Catching work, and her frustration that he seems to be spending more time arguing with Glass. This lines up with Glass' UrghBla/Tabby expose about him being a lazy selfish boyfriend. His responses here are entirely dismissive, not acknowledging that he is being a lazy faggot when his decoys are doing the meat of the work here.
