Based on what? Believe it or not, pedophiles are incredibly proud of being pedophiles and they love how much child porn icks out "antis" (a term now borrowed by lolicons). They have a fucking subculture of spamming child porn. I'm working on our NCMEC integration software and the NCMEC literally has a "spam" report classification to denote that it's not another crime (i.e. there's no solicitation, ongoing exploitation, etc) - it's just a chomo spamming child porn because he thinks it's funny.

A large set of people have myopia, partial blindness[1], some people have very weak or strong sighting dominance[2?][3][4], this makes autostereogram tests hard or impossible for a very large set of people. Is it normal for randoms to have thousands of email addresses and completely defeat Capcha? Because if I have to endure that fucking thing and it doesn't even stop some dented kiddy rapist from shitting up random websites I am going to shoot several google employees before myself in an autistic video game.

yes, script kiddies do this shit all the fucking time for petty crimes against minecraft and cs2 communities. the average russian child can bypass recaptcha2 and steal american credit cards to launder into bitcoin through cs2 knives. if you go to moscow and find a random 20-year-old male on the street and ask him about carding he can set you up.

Also, I don't know how they bill residential proxies. But every byte downloaded by the scammer is both a download and upload out of the proxy. I know when I use my home system as a VPN as I travel the upload speed I have at home sometimes makes things sllllooooowwwwww.

Have any new users write letters to Null (printed letters are tossed immediately), send it without a return address to a PO box or wherever and have them write out the username they want, the password they want to use, and the email they intend on using. After 3-5 business days their email will get a confirmation. Yes, it's a bad idea, but AI can't feasibly do this and we can have a thread where Null posts schizo-tier chicken scratch and we have to decipher it. If you wanted to scan them in, I'd volunteer read them and help sign people up until the pedo is defeated.
 
Good advice was given in this thread. I personally would go with a very hard cryptographic/"mining" challenge combined with a restriction of posting media bound to a secret combination of regdate, reaction score and amount of posting. I feel posting media is not the central experience of the kiwifarms anyways so that restriction probably could be fairly high. The media post restriction could be set up to be individually skip-able by contacting staff if e.g. a leaker has some interesting deets he wants to post.

Even better than that would be :tenbux: to be honest. If that can somehow be pulled off without needing cryptocoin that would probably also keep a lot of the rabble out. There's enough socking and trolling going on here lately that while not malicious like this, still has a negative impact on the quality of the forum. If you don't want to be as elitist, you could make accounts free, but posting media the :tenbux: feature. A platinum feature, if you will. Grandfather the old accounts into that feature so archiving etc. doesn't stop overnight. Maybe people who make a very good lolcow thread in the prospering grounds (threads that need to be manually approved) can "win" this feature? Or it could be a price in other ways.

I'd simplify it slightly.
You sign up on the site. Get a validation code. You either mail a check with that number on it. Or maybe you're from another country or just poor. Then you can mail a postcard. "Hi Josh, Wishing you were here. 8675309"
 
I know very little but I do know that websites use fake links and Invisible links to siphon bots into containment areas where they get stuck.

Would it be possible to put some sort of invisible "post image" or "attach file" button where bots would go for that and instead of posting on the website sends it somewhere else. like to the police for instance.
 
If you want to nuke scrapers and other bots that may be causing trouble, there is always the nuclear option. The main downside is that it will blackhole Google's indexing bots but Kiwifarms is in the unique position of already being delisted
