And it's really easy for China to have the facade of being all advanced and cyberpunk when they completely overlook thinks like standards and valuing human life and safety. There are a couple of places China uses for propaganda purposes that are all neon and cyberpunk looking, but most of China is not like that. Once you get to the outskirts of those "advanced" cities, they become slums. And it only gets worse the further out into the rural areas. That building that gets used by TikTokers and White Monkeys to show how "advanced" China is because they have a building where a train travels through it? Yeah, that wasn't planned. Somebody fucked up when putting up the building and they decided "we will just build around the train rails". They have buildings and infrastructure that collapses catastrophically so often because the constructions companies are corrupt, selling off the quality building materials to make a profit while using literal garbage to actually build with, that they have a phrase for it: Tofu Dreg Construction.

If China is so advanced then why can't they make microprocessors that are of the same quality as the rest of the world? If China is so advanced then why can't they make jet engines to the same quality, power output, reliability, and longevity as other countries? If you notice China's fighter jets, most of them are twin engine fighters, including their latest J-35, which is just a Temu knockoff of the F-35 with two engines instead of one. You know why they do that? It's because their turbines are unreliable and fail quite often, and having two engines means having redundancy. Yet western nations regularly use single engin fighters because the West is able to produce reliable turbines with long service lives. If China is so advanced then why are they constantly engaging in industrial espionage and having to steal tech from the West? If China is so advanced then why are all their large surface ships in the PLAN steam powered? Not even gas turbine powered, let alone nuclear powered. This includes their latest "advanced" Type-003 aircraft carrier.

No, China is still well behind the Western world and playing catchup. They're just good at propaganda.

When I travelled to Beijing I couldn't believe how shitty and fake it was. Only a total retard would be impressed by it. The forbidden city was a half-assed attraction, there were bums in suits collecting garbage onto carts, literal rats running around my feet in supposedly fancy restaurants and hotels, and smog... Smog everywhere. Just imagine the shittiest, dull "upscale" outlet mall in North Carolina and then get it slightly wrong in a dozen ways.

People were pretty nice though.

Oh yes, the smog is oppressive and constant in China, and it isn't just the urban centers. Even out in the countryside it's thick and grey. It's not just the factories, but also because much of China's electrical grid is powered by coal plants. You know, the type of power plant that most advanced countries have rid themselves of, but China gets a pass with having because, despite being this totally super advanced cutting edge country of the future TODAY, they are still considered a "developing country" and so they aren't held to the high environmental standards and international clean air agreements that America, Europe, and Japan are held to. Oh, and virtually none of China's water is suitable for any kind of human use. Like...at all, including their ground water. Not even for bathing or washing clothes or dishes. Over 90% of ALL of China's water (rivers, streams, ponds, lakes, reservoirs, ground water) is so horribly polluted that it's not even safe to use for washing clothing, let alone drinking. Somehow China has managed to bring together the absolute worst of authoritarian Communism (but I repeat myself) with the absolute worst of Capitalism, the kind of shit every other Capitalist country has improved upon and no longer tolerates like it's the middle of the Industrial Revolution but China is happy to let continue because line go up.

I love how Hasan and retards like him who glaze China because muh Communist Utopia is so advanced, just look at these cyberpunk buildings with all their neon and LEDs you guys! And yet in their Comminist Utopia they have gift shops selling mugs and t-shirts with Mao's fat face on it. I'm sure he is dumbfounded how Asmongold is popular in China, and probably even more popular in China than he is, not thinking that he got popular talking about American politics, and Asmongold got popular playing bideo games. China is a land of two extremes. Majority of the country is a poor shithole, where you walk down the street on your way to work and get splashed with a bucket of piss someone is throwing out of their window because they don't have a restroom in their hut. And then there's a super-rich minority who basically live in Dubai-like cities, living Dubai-like lives. If you know anything about Dubai you know this is not a good thing at all. Just different side of the same shitty coin. The only "good" parts of China are parts that are independant: KH and Macau.

My parents used to live and work in Malaysia in the 80's. They told me that the tourist areas had giant boards surrounding the parts of the city that they wanted them to visit, and just on the other side of those boards were literal shanty towns. China is no different. They will happily show you their skyscrapers in promotional videos, but not the people who live in sheds with tin roofs just a stones throw away.
