He's even slobbering!

They want you to stop smoking and then make it look as cool as possible.

If I wasn't too comfortable to go outside now, I'd definitely go and have a stoogie lol.

@Mound Dweller is a user known for being “br*t*sh”
I didn't realize this was the case. When I saw his spooge toast, I was concerned he was suffering from deep depression. Now that I know that it is simply a cultural failing (cooking, dentistry, and knife crime are all Br*t*sh struggles), I don't feel so bad anymore:

My reaction to his food made this thread unintentionally happen and I am sorry for anybody who is psychicly hurt by the images contained

While im sure his food tastes fine, he falls into the trap where he cant understand the reception and scrutiny of his images (viewers taste with their eyes for example which is why presentation has such a place nowdays in food, especially online stuff surrounding food). I hope the comments dont discourage him but make him think more about presentation and color when he decides to create a meal to post, He is certainly braver than I thats for sure... Also maybe a little food safety would be good especially if youre posting it to be picked apart!

If that last sub hadn't been sat on, it would actually look pretty good. But what is that first chicken? It looks more like an abstract art piece than food, was it shot at some weird angle? I legit cannot comprehend the picture.
It looks like it was spatchcocked, where you cut out the backbone and then press the chicken flat. Perfectly valid cooking technique for poultry and great for ensuring that the breast and thighs are both done at close to the same time and not over/undercooked.

That said, I'd probably roast the bird at a higher temperature to get a bit more browning and crispiness on the skin.

Imagine being such an unadjusted retard you can't just see people having a laugh at a friend's bad cooking but instead have to make up weird bullshit. lol, lmao even.

I agree. Mound is not a bad person and this is just hillarious sillyness, nothing serious at all. He is who he is and hes just passionate about cooking in his way and its okay to laugh and nobody should be affected by it in a bad way, I know this is not the thread for it but I do hope everyone is having a lovely thanksgiving lol

When is Mound Dweller going to share with the class his jellied eels plate? Or is that too 'Londoner' for his tastes :P
His jellied WHAT

I feel like he ruins his meals by placing huge unnecessary gobs of sauce directly on it.
I agree. It's not always the dish itself but the presentation that is severely lacking. He gotta be doing it at least partially intentionally because nobody posts a half eaten food, expecting praise for it.

The amount of brown and red colors also can be off-putting. Why would you combine raw meat and bread together? If only there was something to fix his problem, while also being healthy... oh wait, there is - it's called vegetables.

Conclusion: @Mound Dweller is sentenced to a year of balanced diet and being forced to watch all 24 seasons of Hell's Kitchen.

Jellied Eels are a traditional East End (East London) delicacy, typically cooked in vinegar, herbs, pepper, onion, etc. They're mostly paired with mash and pie, but other variants exist; it's quite a healthy dish, also, not as bad as you'd imagine.

Interesting, we have eels here too and they are common as a dish, smoked eel is very yummy! I just have never heard of it being pickled! How long do pickled meats last? Im not a super foodie person, though it is my nature to enjoy food! I guess if its good.. what kind of flavour we talking? is is sweetish from vinegar? I have so many questions

Only had it once, but from what I can remember, it reminded me of a soft white fish, but richer in taste. It's tangy from being cooked in vinegar and very herbally. Besides that, I can't tell you much, soz.

what gets me about his cooking is there is always a puddle of grease, or some kind of condiment slopped on, a general slopness aesthetic that completely kills any idea that it might be good
