Hate to be a buzzkill, but remember that these cases are "alleged"; possible chance that these guys were innocent and fell victims to wild accusations. Part of the reason why trials are important.

Anyways, finally got a video for you guys... well, sort of. It's from 2024 - though this video came out just a week ago - and YouTube did blur a lot of it, though given the case in question it might be for the best. Apologizes if this case was already covered.
Perp's name is Marshella Chidester. Date is April 20th, 2024, and the location is the Swan Boat Club around Newport, Michigan. TL;DR, the 66-year-old woman got drunk and drove into a children's birthday party, killing two kids (siblings, one 4 years and the other 8 years) and leaving others critically injured. When questioned, the woman attempted to downplay her history of alcohol consumption; a subsequent search of her home revealed over 20 empty wine and whiskey bottles in a trash can, all recent, and tests confirmed that her blood alcohol level was also extremely high. The perp and her lawyers attempted to argue that it was her history of neropathy that drove her to drink, but they were unsuccessful; Marshella was subsequently charged with 2 counts of 2nd-degree murder and is currently serving a 25-50 year prison sentence.

The Vietnamese Butcher
On July 28th, 2025, a Vietnamese beheading was uploaded to WatchPeopleDie (on KF). A naked man masturbating which then results in him being violently beheaded on a bathroom floor, which then he gets dismembered, then having his insides cooked. It is one of the third known homicides which the motive is for sexual gratification, and one of the first ever ever to be published to the Internet as a whole. In this post, I will be covering the origin story of the videos, where it was located, the victim & suspect of the cases being unmasked, and the aftermath, which was entirely documented by WatchPeopleDie users & a Vietnamese Facebook Group dedicated to OSINT/Sleuthing. Some of the text shown is taken from a WPD user named "sog" who made a large effortpost detailing the story.The Origin
The earliest trace of the video appears on the 2nd of July in a small Vietnamese Telegram group named "Preview" that contained 11 users, while other chat screenshots from another Chinese group with 41 members simply named "Private Group" appear to discuss the video, as well as other possible snuff videos, as early as the 24th of June.The 41-member group was created by a Vietnamese individual who also spoke Chinese to facilitate the sale of the videos and photos of the killing. He demanded approximately $100 to join the group containing the videos. Whether this 41-member group was legitimate is unknown. The 11-member "Preview" group is confirmed to have contained at least one of the videos. The cost of the "package" mentioned in this group was allegedly $600 USD. The below screenshot contains the earliest known instance of the video, accompanied with a caption reading: "In total, there are 11 videos and 98 photos, sold as a package".
The pinned message reads: "Anyone who needs to purchase can contact @jehssbsn" (the account has since been deleted). One source who was among the first to distribute the videos and photos claims that the creator of this group was the butcher himself, though this can't be confirmed. The screenshot is auto-translated to Chinese by the person who took the screenshot. The original language of the group was Vietnamese, and it was titled "Xem trước" (Preview). Whether the group was in fact created by the butcher, or someone else who obtained the videos and decided to resell them is unknown.
The earliest copy of the complete uncensored video can be tracked down to 10PM UTC on the 22nd of July in another obscure Chinese Telegram group. It is likely that it was on this day or within a few days prior that someone who purchased the package began to distribute it or had it leaked. The second video was shared as a recording of a phone screen shortly afterwards.
A couple hours afterwards, the video reached more public Chinese Telegram channels where it was discovered and posted to other well known gore sites.

Before we get to the photos, there is more videos that have been discovered. In this video, the butcher (wearing Adidas clothing and a Guy Fawkes mask) and the victim (who is putting on a suit & tie) talk with each other. He unbuttons his shirt and ties his hands behind a rope. The butcher is practicing for the shoot and you can see him look into the camera. They speak entirely in Vietnamese. At the end of the video, the guy rubs his back and comforts him.

The Investigation
Following the video's release, it was suspected it took place it Vietnam. While WatchPeopleDie users were speculating where the video took place (which was in Vietnam, and people were deciphering what was said in the video), a Facebook group called OSINT & Cyber Investigation Việt Nam would released a 81 page Vietnamese essay unmasking the victim & the butcher shown. The English version is circulating around which is 109 pages. I have attached the Vietnamese expose as I could not find the English version.Various members of the group (using burner accounts for anonymity) were looking into various news sources to see if anyone had unmasked the killer/family had pointed it out, with not much results popping up. Because there was only 2 cases where another human had allowed themselves to be cannibalized for sexual pleasure (with both happening in Germany), both of them met on various forums dedicated to discussing the topic. OSINT sleuths would then trawl through Vietnamese online groups dedicated to cannibalism (called "long pork"). It wouldn't take long to figure who it was
Nguyễn Xuân Đạt
Nguyễn Xuân Đạt is a 36 y/o male who lived an incredibly private life. He had few friends in the real world. One of his IRL friends would respond on Facebook saying that his birthdate was on 03/10/1989, and he met him in November 2024 at the Phung Khoang market in Hanoi. He claims he last spoke with Dat in Feburary, and that he worked selling sea food on Lane 30 at the aforementioned Phung Koang market in Hanoi.
In the document, this conversation is also repeated, including a private conversation. The screenshots on the left (1 & 2) is translated, and the right (3 & 4) is the original screenshots.
He had developed a fetish for "guro"/decapitation/beheadings. In his first facebook account out of the 2, his first bio read "likes to be beheaded"
The second bio: "Likes guro hentai: decapitation + sex. If anyone shares the same interest, leave a message."
On various social media accounts, he went by the username "datbeheading". He had an account on Motherless (extreme porn site) which he met the Butcher through. In his bio, it reads: "i love beheading - I also want to lose my head with an ax or sword". He also registered to various forums and used hentai sites (at one point requesting a copy/translation of a decapitation guro hentai), and tried to hook up with gay guys in the area sharing his phone number in the process (website / archive)
Dat's profile on Zalo (a popular messenger in Vietnam) gives a date of birth of 10th of March, 1989, with the bio "love behead"
He also has an account on WPD, which was later confirmed by admins to belong to the same victim.
Using the phone number that he posted on the gay website Dutrai, it is confirmed the phone number is the same phone number as on his Facebook.
Netizens of the OSINT group were able to find his name & date of birth listed on a Thai Binh village registry. Two users called the village head directly, the village head confirmed there was a man by that name who left the village after his father passed away. Dat's mother, his only known living relative who reportedly struggles with mental health issues, lost contact with her son years prior, which is why nobody came forward to identify him when the videos surfaced.
Later, after an interview with Phi Le who is one of Dat's facebook friends, was actually a "fellow decapitation fantasist". Phi said he knew Dat's killer who went by the name "Chung". According to Phi Le, Dat had been in contact with Chung for quite some time, but had became frustrated with him as he wouldn't commit to a firm execution date. Eventually, however, Chung agreed to kill Dat at a specific time and place.

As shown in the screenshot provided by Phi Le, after the execution Dat's account sent out a private message to one of his contacts, which simply read "Dat has been beheaded".
Chung didn't only have access to Dat's social media accounts, but was actively using them to stay in contact with his inner circle of death enthusiasts. Searching for confirmation about Chung's involvement, OSINT investigators continued to message Dat's friends, including those he made on a male homosexual group called "Likes Beheading". Later, Hoa Troi responded after one of the members direct messaged him, trolling him by saying he did it.
The OSINT members put together a timeline:
- January 25th, 2025 - On Facebook, Dat posts a status update: "3 hours left until the execution." Dat is killed that same day.
- Feburary 25th, 2025 - Chung sends a message from Dat's account to one of his contacts saying that Dat was dead. That same month, the Vietnamese Butcher videos and photos go up for sale on the black market.
- June 10th, 2025 - Dat's Facebook account posts its final ever status update: "From today, I'm logging off this account for good!"
- July 2025 - The Vietnamese Butcher videos surface on WPD. Dat's Facebook account receives a lot of traffic, and the account is manually terminated.
Checking the original gore footage, there was a small kitchen with blue-and-white patterned floor tiles, red baseboards, a green door, red wall tiles around the counter, and a white countertop. At one point, a LaVie water bottle was visible on a table, as well as yellow bottle of Chinese-brand washing-up liquid near the sink.
From here, some users pointed out those are sold in Vietnam's northern border provinces, which helped narrow down the search. This is where the search hit a dead end for a few months, while a Vietnamese YouTuber named "Ke To Mo" was investigating, until in November a Facebook user dubbed "The Whistleblower" stepped forward and claimed to have been in direct contact with both Dat and the executioner. In these leaked messages, the time took place on 01/25/2025. This took place during a Vietnamese holiday.
The butcher asked to meet a whistleblower at a specific address in Huu Lung town, Lang Son providence. The address pin seemed to be outside a government tax department. On the top right, a name appears: Cam Thanh Chung. Later, the YouTuber Ke To Mo using 3D profiles and various things the Facebook group found, he stated he had identified the killer. Later, this YouTuber claimed he received a death threat but published the information. This included a face picture, and a forum account which was later unscrambled to be "thanhchung11111".
An X account was found (archive) along with an Instagram, TikTok and other various forums under the same username. Most of these accounts were related towards a Twitter account named "doansangls". Checking this username revealed a Facebook account going by "Đoàn Sáng".
Đoàn Văn Sáng (The Butcher)
Đoàn Văn Sáng is a seemingly normal, married father of two in his late 50s who lived in Lang Son, close to the Chinese border. He was a retired deputy head of a Market Management Department (MMD) team, responsible for inspecting suspect goods, as well as the head of Lang Son city's Doan family, a large clan with thousands of members.
Doing further investigation, this user also made replies on the forum discussing the beheading. This is him commenting on how Dat's facebook was deleted:
As it turns out, Thanh Chung is his son's name, and the date 13-9, as seen on the butcher's tattoo, is his son's birthday
Shortly after being named, Doan Sang sent a message in the Facebook group:
The posts were deleted about an hour after being posted.
A TikTok posted by Doan Song shows a room that appears very similar to the room the practice video was filmed in
The son can be seen wearing the same pants that the butcher does in the practice video
Leaked messages with Cam Thanh Chung from years prior presenting himself as a "top" from Lang Son, with the picture of the very Doan Sang
This picture also appeared in a private album shared by someone who had previously spoken with Doan Sang on the gay dating app Blued around 4 years ago
Photos found on social media show physical features, including skin discoloration, very similar to that of the butcher, as well as the presence of a tattoo on his shoulder
Photos taken outside of one of Doan Sang's known addresses shows the same slides the butcher wore.
Another photo taken by Doan Sang shows doors very similar to those seen in one of the butcher's videos
The Aftermath
After this was found, Netizens managed to find the place where the killing of Nguyễn Xuân Đạt took place. It has been confirmed as 81 Chi Lăng, Hữu Lũng district, Lạng Sơn province, in the north of the country near the border with China. Later, It's reported that Đoàn Sáng of Lạng Sơn province was arrested with no police statement. Pictures from insiders during a police raid show the very room it took place, as well the other room where his remains and organs were processed:

Long shot and sorry if it's late, but was there ever a picture of a guy's face being sewn onto a soccer ball/football--I vaguely recall seeing an article YEARS ago but there was no picture. Morbid curiosity is all. Can't recall the names or locations but I bet it was in South America.

Absolutely correct, though I saw an interesting one from way back in the thread. No info on it sadly. Some dude was on the other side of the guard rail like 3 stories up in a mall. I couldn't see any signs but they sure looked like chinks. One man dressed like a pharmacist was really giving his all trying to reach way over and help the guy, Still fell though. But yeah, actual scifi biodrones most of the time, fascinating really.
