Why is her art so bad? Why can't she get any better?
tl;dr apathy/(financial) disinterest to improve.
A lot of mainstream popular artists have the tendency to not improve after they've been recognized. They tend to be the worst when they start off, failing at anatomy, structure, composition, 'cause they're a newbie, of course. Fften when they're adjusting on their content, they tend to improve on their anatomy, general structure and rigidity of characters and backgrounds. Things tend to get more detailed, more interesting designs, et cetera, because the artist can better realise their vision. This tends to go on until they've reached a pique, it's never really established when this pique has been reached but you notice it nevertheless. Improvement ceases, the style remains consistent. The only improvement is in the pace of gushing out content, finding out techniques in pumping out content, finding shortcuts, hiring people, storyboarding beforehand, writing scripts with storyboards beforehand, whatever techniques shitty artists use. The style is now set in stone for them, they wouldn't be able to change styles or improve without it leading to confusion or discontent with fans, their brand is now intertwined with this consistent artstyle. -- You recognize and can differentiate from TheOdd1sOut and Cas van der Pol, they have distinct, recognizable and a consistent style -- It's basically become their brand. Driving away from this established norm could lead to a downfall of interest from fans akin to how TV shows also don't suddenly improve artstyles during later seasons. This is even without the financial interest in mind. Financial reaons exacerbate the symptoms, you know
have to keep a consistent artstyle or else your income might drop, you might not be able to afford that new phone you wanted or even afford rent or food. Or on the opposite side of the coin, why improve at all? It costs time, energy, intruige, research, practice, all that for a chance to drop your income or see a minor improvement, especially when people aren't there for your personality or things that come to you natrually but the things you create and its consistent output. The only reason an artist wants to improve their artstyle comes from themselves and wanting to improve themselves. It's a financial disinterest to change and improve styles.
As we've gathered from almost 240 pages worth, Ellen is not the kind of person to choose self-improvement but rather financial interest, she isn't there to show off her personality but rather to suck-up to the lowest common denominator. This leads to no one really having an interest in her personality but more the content she pushes out, she
has to keep pushing out his pandering garbage, she
has to keep this garbage artstyle. You can tell she only cares about the absolute numbers and not artistic integrity, she posts on Reddit, for fuck's sake. She
has to keep posting her nudes, she
has to keep creating flamewars everywhere she posts because she has no artistic talent. No one thinks to themselves "wow, that Pizzacake sure has some witty, creative and nice looking content", they either think "pandering garbage" or "she has good opinions about current thing".
You will not see any artistic improvement until she finally drops dead or goes financially south, whichever comes first. When she goes into dire straits, it means the current thing isn't the hip thing anymore, she has to show off her personality, which will ultimately fail and you will fail to see any new posts from her. When she drops dead, it means she stops drawing, which is the ultimate improvement to her artstyle, to be fair.
