Yeah, it's almost unbearable how low-energy these trolls are. It does give superificial credit to his "my detractors are all a bunch of psychopaths!" exaggeration he loves to indulge himself into. On the other hand, it's what keeps Phil and his sypcophants shut in to any form of self-reflection criticism, which ensues the hilarity.

But, if they actually want to bring him down (like they keep saying), they're going about it in the wrongest way possible. Phil's channels are basically on life support right now. He relies on donations from Patreon to keep going, and a lot of that is pity money. Probably mostly from people that have watched him for a while. They're watching the family dog that they grew up with get old. Its face is greying, it's starting to limp, and it can't quite keep up with everyone else, but they just can't bear to put it down. I mean... thank God Phil is a straight white male, because he's inching closer and closer to Brianna Wu territory, where the money is mostly coming from his victimhood status. Everyone hates him, everyone's jealous of his success, he's just one guy, he's the underdog (who still can't edit videos after 8 years), etc. etc.. People love throwing money at victims to "stick it to the trolls". And what the trolls are doing on Twitter is just exacerbating it. It's not about trying to hurt his feelings with personal attacks. Phil is lightyears beyond self-reflection at this point. It's about exposing the kind of person he is to everyone else. But, if that one, actual story is buried in garbage, it's going to be dismissed along with everything else.

In the end, though, I guess it depends on what they're trying to accomplish. If they're just trying to fuck with him and get a reaction out of him for the lols, then what they're doing at least makes sense.

I fully realize that many people will not agree with my perspective, but the most insane thing to me about Phil is that to just not get a real job, he sinks an incredible amount of time and effort into a flailing youtube career.

He has given up all forms of natural human interaction. He spends hours each day begging for fucking pennies online. He is so fucked in the head from living this lifestyle that he reveals literally everything about his life on a regular basis. He has zero concept of boundaries anymore.

No only can he not get a job based on the material he has put online, I have no fucking clue how anyone could form a real relationship with him. I'm not even talking about marriage. Like I cannot fathom him being able to invest the effort into having a conversation with one of his neighbors.

Speaking of which, that has to be fun...having Phil for a neighbor. I mean on one hand...you never have to worry about parties. On the other, I am willing to bet that the side of Phil's house could get overtaken with ivy and he would have no fucking idea. I cannot picture Phil being able to maintain a home without someone there to force him to modify his behavior. He could do an episode for A&E's "Hoarder" in a couple of months.

Luckily for his neighbors, he lives in either a townhome or a condo. The HOA is either responsible for the external upkeep of the property, or they levy hefty enough fines that everyone does it themselves.

Imagine the autumn though, when Phil deigns to throw open a window to let in some cooler air, and all the neighbors outside enjoying the waning days before winter can faintly hear "NOW THAT'S BULLSHIT" emanating from the weird hermit's house...

Considering the Josephine chick flat out said that she has zero romantic interest in Phil, lives far away (although in the US), and is married, I don't think she's a catfish or tryna smash. I mean, if she is trying to catfish him, she sure is playing hard to get.

Also, I've never actually paid attention to Phil's Twitter until now, and... jesus christ. The trolls on Youtube can be bad, but they're mostly just shitcommenting. The trolls on Twitter are fucking nuts, though. They're basically harassing this chick, picking out the weirdest, smallest things as evidence that she's someone else pretending to be her. She probably doesn't care all that much about "proving her identity", and why would she?

And there's just a bunch of dumbass over-the-top personal attacks against Phil that don't help anyone but him. Phil is a sketchy scumbag with plenty of actual shit to assblast him over. When they call him a "gouty pussy manbaby whose gf left him" with zero context for that vitriol, that just makes him look like the poor, innocent victim of angry, psychotic trolls.

It's embarrassing how these people have to have some 'saga' involving a girl to thirst over when it comes to DSP. I mean one single tweet exchange from her to DSP has suddenly turned into this autistic obsession and it's embarrassing and makes them all look bad.

Panda Lee has just left and they've already went out of their way to link some woman with Phil and come up with the same nonsense they constantly did about Panda. That's not just including some of his worse detractors either. His fans in the stream chat are just as thirsty and as strange

Those are all points I am in complete agreement with.
Plus there are caveats woven in to car loans such as the age of the vehicle and the dealership purchased from.
Incidentally, since you mentioned Phil biking places I looked in Google Earth at the neighborhood he is in...it looks like near him to the west there are a couple fast food places in a corporate district and then just to the east is a Safeway supermarket. He could Uber that trip due to the grocery bags for a very reasonable price.

I don't think Phil knows where he's going with this anymore. I don't think he's known for years. I don't think there's a long game or Plan B.

Things were good for a while. Really good. His channel was growing, and he was supposedly making "obscene amounts of money" with Machinima. He never planned ahead, just took it one day at a time. Then, one day, he just woke up, and it's 5 years later. His channel has gone from growth, to stagnation, to decline. I think at first he kept going because he figured it'd turn back around. It's obvious now that that's never going to happen, but at this point, he doesn't know what else to do, and his pride probably won't let him even try. He's just going to fight tooth and claw to "stay afloat" for as long as humanly possible. And what's going to happen after that fails? There's no way he can spin moving back in with his parents as a good thing.

He could've made it out okay a while ago (like, years ago), financially and otherwise, before things really started getting fucked. I mean, he had a bad reputation, but nothing like it is now. He could've nuked his social media presence, sold the house, moved back to the condo in CT, and found a regular job. He'd still have debt, but probably something he could pay off in a realistic timeframe. He'd still have some trolls, but without a public online space for that shit show to play out on, it wouldn't gain a lot of traction. Thinking about it, though, I can't even imagine Phil just disappearing without a 3 hour long video explaining it.

At this point, though? He's fucked in every conceivable way. Every day, he's accumulating more debt, and his claim to fame is masturbating on a live stream. He's toxic.

I don't get why detractors want Phil to get a girlfriend. The highest quality entertainment possible in this situation is obviously gonna come from Phil staying single. We get to watch a man's life spiral down the toilet as he STARTS FROM 70% shut-in status. He's only going to get more isolated, more paranoid, and more egotistical, and it's gonna be so much fun to watch.

During Leanna's panic attack he had to go to her work to get the keys to the car so he could take the car to the hospital. A lot of people speculate he was probably in a bitchy, asshole-ish mood the entire time, just like he was at the hospital. More specifically, people have said for a long time that Leanna probably talks about Phil at work to her coworkers, who maybe think she's kidding or exaggerating. But that day, he walked in and probably showed them that she wasn't being hyperbolic about him one bit. Imagine how Phil looks on an average day. Now imagine that walking into her office with a bad mood asking where her keys are. I can only imagine the look on her coworkers' faces.
