Needs a double trigger to be a paintball gun inspiration
I had a 41 and it wasn't unusable, but it did suck.So I finally got my Glock 40 out of jail and uh...is the slide stop supposed to be unusable as a slide release?
It's tiny and doesn't exactly sit far out enough to move under ideal conditions but especially with the chonky slide and spring that the 10mm demands it's under so much tension I can't move it at all no matter how many fingers or thumbs I throw at the problem without pulling the slide back first.
I’ve used Tacswap and Infinite Armory. Obviously be careful buying from peopleanyone have any experience with tacswap for selling / buying 2nd hand optics? (or just in general)
I use the Vickers Tactical extended slide release on all my glonks. There was one that some cool guy operators recommended because it’s extended and raised but I forgot the company that sells it.So I finally got my Glock 40 out of jail and uh...is the slide stop supposed to be unusable as a slide release?
Your post motivated me to do something with my vz61 kits so I also bought a Tortort recvr and even another modern railed upper to play around with. Everything was just delivered so I haven't done much besides admire and compare with the de-milled cut-ups. I came across a snapshot of a blueprint of the original that I can't find anywhere so spent some time cleaning it up if anyone else might find it useful. They print great.I'm building a second one
Bowman kits might be a better option
I just bought a tortort (was 250 a few days ago)
You will get raped when buying a trigger guard if your kit doesn't come with one btw (looks like Atlantic does)
The receiver pictured also looks cut pretty well, the bowman one I got looks like it was cut by a monkey.

The mil complex (from every country) is suffering because when they requisition software the company that makes it has no reason to make it "good". They get paid to complete "n" feature. The open market has to fight for users so their apps end up being MUCH better. The Ukrainians literally use Discord and VOIP phones for frontline comms
Beautiful pictures, thank you for sharing. I have my parts laying in a pile ATM, I was going to get a guide together because there isn't really a good one, putting them together isn't hard, everything can only fit in one spot, but it can be like a puzzle.Your post motivated me to do something with my vz61 kits so I also bought a Tortort recvr and even another modern railed upper to play around with. I've read that the original FA selector from the kits doesn't work right in the modern semi's and the only semi selectors I've seen are plastic. Does anyone make a steel semi-only selector for these? It looks almost trivial to convert the semi recvr to FA but not worth the risk in our new FRT world.Beautiful pictures, thank you for sharing. I figured when I started looking and there's like 10 pages of different variation on the same "longer and with a nub" for slide releases which look remarkably like what came out of the box on my 17L, I've just never encountered a pistol where that part's function didn't work at all under normal circumstances.Essentially yes; as said previously there's aftermarket upgrades but you can tell Gaston wanted you to slingshot it.
Possibly misremembering this? The forum has a full PDF for download, Bingham Exploder Cartridges were made in Georgia I believe and they made .22lr "devastators" that wounded Reagan (though malfunctioned).Hello everyone, I recently remembered something and am wondering if I might be crazy or just misremembering. Some years ago I read a digitalized magazine article about a White man in Africa, I want to say Southern Africa (South West Africa (Namibia), Botswana, South Africa, then Rhodesia) who was experimenting with and manufacturing actual high explosive handgun bullets that could put a fist size hole in a fleshy target. I want to say this article was from sometime between 1970 and 1991/4 (End of Apartheid and South Africa as a civilized country). Does literally anyone know what I'm talking about?

I should have specified but I specifically remember there being a photo of a white man in camouflage fatigues in a barn machine shop, The photo was in black and white but a had a relatively high quality resolution. I want to say the gun he was testing them out of a Browning Hi-Power. I think a cross section diagram was provided and the bullets were packed full of explosive material and were rather light. It must have been a design requiring the use of a crushable igniter as a shock sensitive filling would obviously be a bad ideaPossibly misremembering this?
