How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

So Bob is tired because the fandom associated with post-apocalypse is kind of bad whatever that means?Wow talk about not being able to separate the work from the reaction to that work.I hate this book because the fans i met were not nice. What kind of critic is Bob?I know everyone has biases but when they're so blatantly obvious you lose the right to claim i'm good at this. But then again if Bob is willing to tweet a pic of him and his brother dressed like that we shouldn't be too surprised.

(Spoiler: It takes him about 1:20 to start talking about the damn movie. The first 1/4th of this video is just him complaining about Post-Apocalypse movies and macho dudebros.)

Rate me :optimistic:, but I don't think that's what's gonna happen to Trey Edward Shults's career. Read any interview with him, and it becomes really clear that he makes intensely, almost uncomfortably personal art movies, and his career won't go exactly like Bob's smug prediction says it will.

Well Bob hasn't seemed to learn the lesson from various other new guys and arthouse creators that try big budget films, i.e. Josh Trank and Fant4stic. Generally speaking, most of them either let their egos get in the way, dreams crushed by big studio folks meddling with their work, or after their movie flops, destroys their career. Color me blind, but I believe most directors from that artsy genre of films would like having half a dozen folks trying to alter and mettle with their work.

Yeah, auteur theory is a killer, and it's why I tend to side with the editors in a film more often than not over the director and studio. Though sometimes you just can't save something via editing; like Blob's movie ideas, since the script is so weak you can't counter it with good acting or direction.

I don't think any description of Diane Abbott can truly describe how useless she is, she's like a joke from a comedy skit brought to life.

I'm sure Bob would love her though, he'd at the very least feel obliged to not hate her since she's a left wing black woman.
putting put for Jeremy Corbin got her as far as being on the shadow cabinet. He must have a magic wand for a dick.

So I was going through my hard drive and I found that I still have a PDF copy of Moviebob's Book "Brick-By-Brick.' If anyone's interested (and don't want to pay how much this book costs on Fangamer), I've put up a download.

Bob's ideas are less ideas and more proselytizing with his political beliefs. I swear his fixing ideas though some are possibly good ideas get brought down by his inability to separate his worldview from his work. Finally, you are right with not being able to polish a turd, which is why Bob will never get a successful movie career

He can't separate his work from world view because he doesnt fucking work.

What's so gazemazing about Wonder Woman anyway? It felt like DC trying to do Captain America and not getting it as right.

I don't know, the fighting scenes were better, but that's the only time I liked Wonder Woman onscreen. Other than that, I preferred Steve Trevor onscreen

And that's my point, in part, the leading character should be a bigger drive.

Also the villain's argument was fucking terrible in execution.

If I'm not mistaken (I probably am), this is the first big mainstream film that stars Wonder Woman. That alone got most people's attention. The fact that it's getting better-than-expected reviews helps too.

Doesn't help that the Amazons tried to mimic Gal's accent and failed doing so. They sounded Northern Europe, sort of a cross between Scandinavian and something else like Russian.

In terms of Villains, it was nice to see Doctor Poison, however they should have been Japanese, but I guess they did this to try and get some money overseas. I think I would have rather have seen a Cheetah and Doctor Psycho.

First female superhero movie that wasn't objectively a complete disaster. Also, after 2016 feminists need this win. For morale, if nothing else.
which is funny as the film had nothing to do with "progressivism" movements. People like Bob just latched onto it because vagina. I guess they needed anything to help delude themselves into thinking the ship isn't still sinking at breakneck speeds.

Yeah for all the worshiping of this film at the feminist altar, this film has very little if any of that stuff in it and doesn't hit us over the head with the fact that Wonder Woman is a woman. (Yeah in fact in this movie the squad in the movie feels even more unnecessary as it could as been her and the captain and the same result would have been achieved

I thought it was an OK movie..not awesome like Ironman or anything though

Hella lot better then anything DC has made so far.

I am more impressed that DC didn't produce utter shite this time. (BTW i gave the film a 7/10 for being a good, solid superhero movie that anyone can enjoy but it wasn't a tour-de force or really fun like Guardians 2
