I can virtually guarantee that this is in regards to something that happened in the Floraverse discord chat. I was just waiting for her to flip out and start posting comics about it. This kind of explosion was pretty much weekly clockwork in the PMDE irc. PK can't handle being in environments where people talk freely.

You should start screencaping some choice bits from the Discord if you could (and want to).

I thought exty was the one who designed Beleth? and also Neon? though Neon might've been designed by geckozen as she created the species. I wonder how both original creators feel about what PK has done to their characters, esp. Neon as she doesn't use the original design and personality at all anymore.

The darker red bowlcut version was exty's design, but the white and more feminine one was by PK. The latter is the one PK seems to prefer drawing. Same thing with the Neon redesign. Seems like she takes designs and tweaks them to her preferences, keeping what she wants and cutting anything unique.

I find these choices weird 1) isn't PK one of those people who thinks you can claim any gender/race/species/whatever no matter how you look? 2) female goats have beards 3) since when does srs or hormone treatment or whatever they do in floraverse make your eyes huge and nose small? 4) wasn't the original mohawk neon with a goatee female to begin with???

See: PK got bored of a decent design that probably wasn't hers. Had to change the gender and appearance to make it hers.

Also I think we've hit the nail on the head when we established that trans in a universe of no gender roles/rules is moot point, unless she's trying to say trans-species. Which would definitely be more likely/work better as Neon goes from goat cat to whiteBeleth with goggles and hooves post-transition.

Edit: Come to think of it wanting to change your species in Floraverse would be, perhaps, the most meaningful allusion to transgender issues in a story without gender roles. But, it's PK and she handles that shit about as well as a goldfish handles dry land.

Even though her design came from a Hunter x Hunter design, I'll be god damned if that image doesn't look like White Beleth. I mean EVERYTHING. I remember that. Why the fuck does she even bother putting herself in these mass-chatroom situations if that's the case? I remember her yelling at people to shut the fuck up in the PMDE Mumble chatroom. I'm surprised she manages to maintain any friends at all with those social skills.
